And I love your Channel, Kevin:))
Canadian francophones also get discriminated against by French people from France! The moment they hear your Canadian French accents (which, linguistically, are actually spoken by French royals in the 1700s), they blatantly mock you and say that you're not speaking French

一直很喜欢你的视频,没想到今天会看到这个视频,以前从来不知道有这样的歧视存在,直到今年交往了延边的朋友。大家都是平等的,no one is better than anyone else.

歧視別人的人也被另一群人歧視,只要有人類的地方,歧視無處不在。 謝謝 Kevin 願意花時間做這支影片!!!
I think you should have English subtitles for this Kevin. I like your videos but I'm raised in Canada and never really studied Mandarin in school. So I can understand bits and pieces but the subtitles help me get the big picture. TY!
We can find tons of racists here those claim to be “non racist” and keep saying discrimination is reasonable. So “impressive” and disgusting.

Hi Kevin, I am so happy to come across your channel. I maybe understood 60% of it. I am ethnically Korean(中国朝鲜族)and both of my parents grew up in China who are both 朝鲜族also. Then they moved to the states before I was born. I was raised in the states but did visit China and Korea once a year at least. Whenever i try to explain to people who or what I am, I always felt really confused. I would say i am ethnically korean but Korean Chinese. Then Id have to explain to them that there is an ethnic group in China called chao xian zu.. which makes the opposite person even more confused... and growing up i did hear a lot of bad things about how south koreans think of chao xian zu in China.. and i purposely tried to distant myself from all the south koreans especially the ones who came to the states later..Koreans who were raised in the states seem to be more accepting and hold no biased opinions towards people like me.. but i think it's very true that south koreans in general are very racist toward us and they think all of us are either too poor or need to be working under them in order to make money.. I have some relatives who later moved back to korea all had some form of racist comments or behaviors towards them.. while pretty much all of my relatives have their own businesses.... and hire koreans and foreigners mostly... it's really heartbreaking come to think of it as we share the same blood and it doesnt make any sense for any race to be treated in such degrading way... to their own people.... it's just so sad.. but thank you for making this video and korean chinese are definitely very under represented, especially coz there are so many of us who are NOT what south koreans think of us to be...

yeah, also feel kinda special that we are a part of such a small group. Honestly, I have not met one chao xian zu outside of China.

@@janejin8145 i've met a few 2nd generation chaoxianzu in American. I think it is true that they are a small group. And it is not obvious that they are chaoxianzu unless you actually get to know them or the topic comes up (initially).

I’m a Canadian Korean raised mostly in Korea, and I don’t think 조선족 people all deserve that behaviour. Just like all ethnical groups, there are good people amd bad people. I support you

@@canadianbutkorean6651I’m another joseonjok who was raised in New York and you are by far the only Korean person who’s said anything even remotely kind towards us… I’ve spent all night last night going through those really mean videos which Koreans made about us and it broke me and I couldn’t control my anger honestly. But thank you for this short comment and it’s good to know that one or two of you guys still are around.
well said, I am Korean who is living in America for long time, when I read the news, that is the fact which you said about reasons. In my opinion, Korea is different from China, which meant that Korean is not multi cultural country, and lately Korean has different feeling about main china also. I used read articles about China which was good, but not now, Koreans doesn't have good feeling for Chinese government, because of that, they don't have good feeling toward Chinese also, it is sad, but that is true.

It’s different it’s not in government wise it’s that there is a Chinese minority of what the translation called clan and it’s named chao xian zu 朝鲜族 and it’s not Korean nor North Korean they are a Chinese clan it’s one of China’s 56 clan. And I think they are being racist to the chao xian zu people is because they are very misunderstood by the world and usually mixed with with Koreans.
