Is the route from Hanoi to Sapa a straight express highway drive or will there be high traffic and long dangerous curvy mountain roads that must be traveled through in order to reach the town? Thanks very much. I assume you have already but please take a look at the weather in Sapa in October, it’s the least sunny month of the year 😔… still beautiful though!

Yes, I checked the weather out and it appears that Sept to November is recommended as the other time of the year other than April/ May to visit. I will be going for the mountain atmosphere, so at the very least, glimpses of the sun will be welcome. I am also taking a YESD tour of the northern part of Vietnam. It is a seven day, eight nights individual tour of the area where you are escorted by locals. Thanks for the effort you put into your productions and the tips.

Beautiful hotel, A little bit heavy and cluttered feeling though. * The mirrors are meant to be off Balance For tall and shorter persons.

It’s an amazing hotel. And it must be a great experience to stay in this hotel. But it’s too rich and expensive for my poor blood 😂. Any recommendation for booking this hotel at a more reasonable price? Thank you for a great video. Now that I found your channel. I will definitely watch everyone of your reviews and use it as my inspiration to go places.

It depends on the season and the type of room booked. There are certainly cheaper categories than the one that I stayed in- on par with other higher end resorts in town such as Silk Path. I find my rates just by constantly searching which most people don't have time to do- so I'd suggest setting up a price alert for the hotel on a site such as Kayak so you can catch a deal. Das Hotel sieht außen sehr schön aus , Barock Stil . Aus der Terrasse kann ich den Fan Si Pan Berg sehen , Traum Blick . Interior ist detailliert . Frühstücksbüffet ist mager , quantitativ und nicht qualitativ . Lobby ist klein und schlank . Es ist sicher einen Visit für mich in 2023 . Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist angesagt . Eine Übernachtung ist eher nicht . Der Zimmer Preis ist normal für 5 Stern Hotel in Vietnam, obwohl manche Hotel 5 Stern in Vietnam der Preis zwischen 150 - 200€ / Nacht lagt. Für mich : If there’s one thing a hotel can’t buy, it’s heritage. Only those that have weathered time, politics and fashion trends can claim the title of ‘historical hotel’. Das Hotel ist neu gebaut fertig . Interior würde ich 360 Grad Cam benutzen .

I see that you have changed the review format, distance yourself from TLTE style. But I do want to see some more information about all the common areas and assets that the hotel offers, in this video you kinda miss a few areas like the spa, the beautiful courtyard which you only have a few shot. This is just me being annoyed for wanting to see more and not having any trouble watching a longer video review. What you did is already really great, i will always support you. Best love

Yes with the voice overs it actually makes it much more convenient for viewers who use subtitles. For the courtyard, I was actually surprised that they don’t use it for anything and most doors to it are locked so I agree yes it’s beautiful but using it seems to be discouraged a bit. The spa is a different story. If a hotel/resort is known for its Spa, then I will include it (like you’ll see in the Six Senses NVB or Mango Bay videos, for example) but otherwise, many hotel spas are simply ‘all the same’ without trying to generalizing too much. Either way though, I hear you (if it was up to me, each video would be an hour long haha).

Each to his own. Yes ok may be an amazing looking hotel but sadly this struture and so many other developments have destroyed the essence of Sapa and totally over exploited the area - everyone needs progress but it needs to be done right.
