Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Mirage has just completed its facelift and come up with more aggressive style. With INVECS III and MIVEC technology, can it beat the Picanto? Check it out on this latest video.

I love mitsubishi, here in peru we have a lot of busses mitsubishi, i have a mitsubishi eclipse and my mom mitsubishi mirage, they are a good cars!!!!

I only like the design of the Picanto instead of the mirage but prefer the mechanics of the mirage. It's all just give and take.

Bot cars are quite evenly matched. I think the Mirage gives better value for money. I bought one, and five years later (and 80.000 km) it had zero defects. None whatsoever. Not even a light bulb broke.

thats how it should be under 150-250k any good car can have no defect depends on maintenance and consumable like at 60-100k the factory brakes are still used need changing and work good

Picanto! Bought one just recently. Love it! Mirage is also great but I don't like the exterior design. Picanto is the most fuel efficint. Done my research before buying one.

The Mitsubishi CVT has a torque converter too. Even better, it has a conventional 2 speed automatic with torque converter coupled to a CVT. Try to beat that!

look who's talking, a Picanto can be driven fast in tarmac roads and has a low ground clearance unlike the mirage can be driven in any road and can be modified into a rally car... Oh I forgot search for the Proto Mirage where some teams are using mirage for rally races..

I'm not talking about where the car can be driven, I'm talking about the looks of the car. That Mirage is ugly, Kia outsmarted it all the way. And speaking about ground clearance, I'm pretty sure it isn't a great deal. Both cars can be driven in highways as well as in dirt roads. It is really up to the driver's skills on how to maneuver these cars on which road situations. Stupid thing really is, Mitsubishi ended up their Lancer program, and took focus on this ugly Mirage.
