Nice and really informative fella. My pond is not near a drain hence why I have considered a drum. So like you the only way is to have a sump to pump up a slight incline to my drain so hope you do an informative video when you do your sump to get rid of the crap water. Also I will watch with interest when you connect your water supply. Cracking job with your new set up and find your videos really interesting and informative. Cheers fella.👍👏

Good progress Si, considering u had man flu. I need to start thinking about laying new cable and pipework for the filter house, u gonna film connecting them up?

Hi Simon. Have you researched an air tube that is ok with Ozone Generator ?

Hi Andrew. Yes there are many different materials that are compatible with Ozone, silicone amongst a few other rubber materials. If you have a look online you'll find a full materials list that ozone doesn't oxidise.

Hi Simon could you tell me when you have your heat pump on with covers of what temperature do you set it to and is the heat pump on a lot with the covers of cause that's what I want to do cheers Wayne

My heater at the moment is at 20c, but will be going up to 24c. Its not on too much tbf, especially as we get into the warmer weather

Hi Si been looking at you old videos re the Filtreau Drum & Moving bed, I’m thinking of getting the same, what are your thoughts now given the time passed with yours? Regards Gary

Hi Gary, The drum is great if you are on a budget and don't need to filter a big pond. Not too much to go wrong with it, and the things that can go wrong with it are readily available. As for the moving bed, for what it is, in retrospect now I would have built my own. Would work out much cheaper 👍
