In this tutorial, you'll learn how to build one of my favorite domino tricks, the piano technique! It's also one of the slowest and doesn't require a ton of dominoes to build.

The piano technique gets its name because it resembles the keys of a piano, and when it topples, it looks like the keys are being played one at a time in succession. This technique has a bit of a reputation for being risky and unreliable, but if you follow along closely, you shouldn't have any trouble getting it to work in your own setups!

you can just put a question mark, but if you put the video link to the trick with a timestamp that will help a lot because I might know the name from that

Awesome tutorial! I was wondering why my piano techniques always fall, I didn't know you needed to have them closer to the middle of the white dominoes, I always put it at the very end lol. Also thanks so much for making me featured community member, it means a lot to me!!

yeah I used to put the dominoes toward the very end, but it's so much more reliable putting them closer to the middle! and no problem!! congrats on being FCM!

I really love this piano technique. It looks really satisfying when it just plays the keys. I imagine what song the dominoes play while toppling in a piano technique? Well... They play precision sounds, duh? You're a great domino arists as well as a great domino teacher too, because you explain EVERY single thing about dominoes very precisely, if it's a tutorial, or a topic of some kind. You also have great technical skills like editing, designing domino setups and stuff like this. I've realized, your H5 Domino Community is NOT a physical thing, I mean it's a community with ALL domino fans in the world. Everyone's a part of your community. I guess I went off topic, but anyways, nice tutorial. Keep on building and..... You know, love you 😇

I built this and it was really cool! Since it fell slowly it made me nervous it would stop but it didn't. One thing that helped me is initially making the white dominoes balanced, then putting the blue ones (a little bit further back) and then sliding it all up with a straightedge. It helped me get it right without toppling it. Idk if somebody else was also having trouble no knocking it over or if I just have really shaky hands. 🤷‍♂️

I like this trick and I know it sometimes doesn’t work too too often. It may just be me lol. Also the yellow dominoes imo can be replaced with Kapla planks as well.

this really helps out I was doing it wrong my whole life, also I would like to hear about what a domino builder should never do. I'd gladly help out with the video, partially because I want the video to be kind of funny, cause I'd like to throw in some jokes in there. just to entertain the audience on what a builder should never do. I'll give a few examples 1. make a big project that spells out a word that has a racial epithet: never do that, that will lead to offence and someone would hate you for that 2. don't make rant videos on dominoes: that will make sure that a builder wants to report your video for no reason 3. fields that spell out a foul word in dominoes: this will make builders think: what kind of community is this, Unless if your domino channel is strictly for adults, witch please for the love of god, don't do that 4. violence in dominoes: this means graphic imagery, and blood sheds, BIG NO NO, I thought of that idea once and honestly I decided no I'm not doing that. 5. whatever you do, you should NEVER make designs of a field with: eeehh I'll skip that one, if you know what I mean, cogratulations ok I think I'm going a bit to far I'll stop this comment LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS IDEA
