Ah, yes, Haarken, the guy whose name I always forget is spelt with two "a"s and not two "e"s, and whose 8th edition rules were so awful, all he really was for the past two years since his release is the much needed base for an easy jump-pack chaos lord with lightning claws conversion.

This guys sounds awesome, it's a shame I never get the chance to pay across the table from Black Legion.

He seems like a cool caracter for a book series. No matter if he is the focus or not. It would be rather fitting to have a book where he trutly just barely makes his promise come true, 80 days and 80 nights. A book where our heroes fight to see the world last another day, and when it seems they will outlast the Herald, their hopes are crushed brutally.

I’m down with all the new abadon lore. It was either make him cool or kill him off and get a new one but I think they made the right decision. Next time he shows up in person I expect him to be so tricked out and badass. Like #blessed (by the chaos gods). Maybe even give him a sick mount he uses all the time like his aos counterpart has.

I enjoyed the crap Abaddon / Failbaddon got, despite enjoying his rise and character across various BL books. Although, seeing how the twelve crusades all served as steps towards the eventual 13th crusade redeemed him for me. "It is not who wins the battle, but the war" against the vast Imperium would require an enormous undertaking.
