My mother got our habitat home in 1994 and it’s paid for now. I remember feeling so blessed growing up to have my own room and big yard. I always tell ppl abt this organization because it’s a wonderful resource!

My old co workers mom is the head person for habitat for humanity near me so I’m thinking of taking this route! Do you get to pick out your furniture and everything too? Like do they pay for everything??

Yes, It comes with appliances including w/d, and you buy your own furniture and decor.

Congratulations, Queen!! You have a beautiful home & the lot is very generous! Can you please share what state you are in & if most of the habitat housing are built in the rural areas there. It appears to be very quiet & peaceful unlike the city areas in my state. What an awesome blessing!

Wow that’s soo amazing, my auntie had hers built with them and she turned it into a daycare center 🤗🧸 I’ve applied last week 🙏🏽 pray that I get approved.

It's that legal to turn the home into a daycare. I just here they just have so many stipulations on what you cannot do. I'm from Newyork so what I did learn is I can't go beyond my living location. I have to stay within the distance because of the sweat equity you put in. They beautiful but look so small to me. I just don't know.
