I knew and stayed in touch with Jim Arness all my life and was honored to be in his Autobiography. I was on a U.S.A. radio broadcast with him once and asked him about Leo Gordon. He remembered him fondly and mentioned that Leo wanted to use his own personal gun and holster rig for the HACK PRINE episode so they let him do that.

Thanks for sharing that story. In his book, I saw the letter you wrote him, recalling a time he visited you in the hospital when you were a child. That's really nice to hear that you kept in touch with him over the years.

Just so happens that when I watched this last year on my DVD, I had to back it up and do a slo-mo myself 'cause I couldn't believe Matt would have shot Hack a second time. The slo-mo showed me that Hack was trying to shoot again when Matt gave him the 2nd one.

How much fun was this slo-mo shootout? And, of course, our hero "Marshall Dillion" beat the bad guy. Thanks for sharing with us.

Yep, that;s him! I went ahead and added his name to the description. I should have done that before, so thank you for reminding me. :)
