Would you be kind enough to create a video for all hacked consoles with recommendations for size of storage i.e. HDD/SDD/SD-Card that is required to hold all games for each console?

@@celticmist8790 It’s a big ask to put all games from a library on a single hard drive for some consoles. PS2’s HDD Loader has a 500 game limit i believe, and weird character limits on titles. You have to get creative and load the rest of the games on a separate source (think memory card2SD). Wii U and 3DS have methods for spoofing their home screens to bypass the app limit, but I wouldn’t call that ideal. I really wouldn’t recommend trying to fill all your consoles with every game. Just pick the ones you’ll actually play, and store the rest on an external HDD for easy access or something.

I don't know if it was just me but 5:23 after backing up everything and getting around this stage when I relaunched my console it told me that my update folder still existed even though when I originally jailbroke it I deleted it so I simply went to the application on Homebrew and deleted it like I did last time. I don't know if this happens to everyone or I may have just forgotten it last time but I just wanted to let you know just in case☺️👍. Also thank you so much for being really straightforward while still sounding like you're an actual human and not making it really boring 😁😁😁❤️🙏 thank youuuuuu

Thank you for your thorough simple guides. With the slight, but real, risk of bricking a device through error, having very clear instructions has given me the confidence to jailbreak both the wii u and the vwii within it. I have a couple of questions though: having now done the jailbreak i presume i can remove the ios install packages. As they both come with big warnings, i want to ensure that e.g. my son doesn't accidentally redo/corrupt the process somehow (is that even possible?). Also, prior to the jailbreak it is apparently possible to boot the wii u, whilst holding B button, to bit direct into vwii. Doubt this now brings up the jailbreak ios installer options. Can this functionality be reinstated after jailbreak? Thanks again for your work. And i just subscribed.

Does the Wii games also go on that same external HDD as the Wii U games and how do I install the Wii games after I hack the Wii virtual console ?

Random question, should I do this if I already have the vWii hacked from awhile ago? In 2014 I modified my Wii U and hacked the vWii using the Super Smash Melee method that used a exploit to hack the console. So I have no idea what custom hack I have and I’ve always had Homebrew channel on my vWii since then

Blaine, I have a slim PS3 with CFW on it and I'm wanting to connect a 1 TB external hard drive to it to store installed PS3 games. Could you please do a video on how to do this so when I use webMAN and Filezilla to send over the ISO files, it goes to the external hard drive and not the normal internal one?

Jail broke my Wii U when I got it a few months ago, then remembered that there’s the Virtual Wii too, so I jailbroke that last night. Wasn’t hard at all, way easier then jailbreaking a real Wii these days… due to the Wii having barely any internet connection these days.

Makes sense. I think the big win with the vWii mod is opening the door to playing GameCube games through Nintendont on the Wii U. It's a great workaround.

Good question. This is from the D2X GitHub: "The cIOS allows the Wii to run unofficial software, such as emulators and game backups, and can also improve the performance of some games and homebrew applications."

I don't think so. That page on the guide says, "Installing any IOS (including TED IOSes) or wads made for the original Wii on your vWii will brick it."

Strange. I think the most common reason for failed attempts by the mods is that things might not be in the right place on the SD card. Be sure that the D2X process is installed correctly. Double check that the numbers all match when you do the installs.

Since when do you have to jailbreak your Wii-U to hack your vWii? I just hacked my vWii the same way that I hacked my actual Wii consoles...is there a reason for over-complicating things in this manner?

Hi Johnny! I know you are a great part of this community, and I appreciate that a lot. I'd guess a lot of people jailbreak their Wii U first, but as you mentioned, they are separate processes and entities.
