Oh y'all FYI, don't make stock using ONLY food scraps. The stock takes on the flavor of the scraps and it'll taste disgusting if your veggie combos don't work well together. For a traditional western tasting stock, make it with whole onions, carrots, celery and then add a few handfuls of vegetable scraps into it.

Some other ideas to use leftover food: 1) anything is great on pasta, 2) small amounts of leftovers go really well on top of poke bowls, or fried rice, 3) you can grate leftover food and toss it into a salad, 4) if you have a blender pretty much anything may be turned into smoothies, or soups, or pancakes, or muffins or even waffles, either sweet or savoury. I once even turned leftover lentil soup into falafels, and they turned out great

@@jamieingels1190 Banana peel pulled pork is a thing. You use green to ripe banana peels. Scrape the white part off, shred into long pieces (can use a fork), cook, add seasonings. Dunno if it'd be to your taste, but it's an option

Unless it’s organic I feel pesticide is in the vegetable peel so I wouldn’t cook it and use it.

my thoughts exactly !!! I think it is super irresponsible not to mention that in the video. PESTICIDE SOUP ANYONE????? Also, why isnt she using the parsley stems? They are totally edible and yummy, a real zero waste approach would be learning to eat or cook every part of the veggies. Broccoli stalk once peeled is super sweet and delish, stalks of parsley, cilantro, dill can be cut into little pieces, use green parts of leeks not only white pat etc. Most of all, buy organic locally sourced veggies.

I actually stopped eating beef, mainly because of the methane Production of the cow farms. I love this video! Thank you for All of this great information! QUESTION: Is it okay to store vegetables at room temperature After they have been stored in a refrigerated way? (Like Bell Peppers are stored at the grocery stores...) I love ❤️ your GOODFUL channel! my cravings change on a hourly basis, so meal prepping and planning for a whole week doesn’t really work for me. what does work for me is cutting/prepping somethings ahead of time. i’ll chop up veggies, meats, and fruits ahead of time and store them like that. sometimes i’ll go ahead and saute or grill some of the veggies or meat so that i can just throw them together in a dish.

Combatting food waste is an important topics but i find it HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE that you don't mention to buy ORGANIC produce, especially when u are using those veggie peels to make stock and bake them later. Most of the pesticides are on the skin of veggies, so if you are suggesting to people to boil them then in the same breath you should mention to only do that with ORGANIC VEGGIES UNLESS THEY WANT A PESTICIDE SOUP. DO BETTER GOODFUL!!! Pesticides are real and very terrible for human health, if u buying non organic because u cant afford organic, then DO NOT DO THIS. THROW THE PEELS AWAY.

Can you please make a reaction video to The lady of heaven movie Trailer? I know this isn’t your type of content but sometimes change can be positive. It’s coming out in AMC theaters on December 10 , 2021 in the US plus you can order the ticket in advance in their website and it is expected to have a worldwide release in various countries and it’s fine, your reaction video doesn’t have to be professionally made. Your immediate action to this cause would be greatly appreciated. ❤️😃
