The tradition that Prophet Muhammad PBUH in earlier days of Islam prohibitted to write down the narrations from him, was to root out the risk of mixing Hadith with Quran; however Propbet PBUH in very that tradition asked people to narrate Hadith from him. Hazarat Ali himself had a collection of traditions with him. I am leaving behind two wieghty things: Quran and Sunnah. This tradition is recorded in Muwatta by Imam Malik (93-179 AH). All of Sahaba believed in Sunnah as a source of Islam. How is that possible that Holy Prophet PBUH had failed in his duty to clarify to them the sources of Islam. Every one from prophet's time onwards until now has been believing in Sunnah as a source. At least you would have to agree that the faith in Hadith as a source has ever been mutawatur. Now come to Quran for the validity of Hadith. رَبَّنَا وَ ابۡعَثۡ فِیۡہِمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡہُمۡ یَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡہِمۡ اٰیٰتِکَ وَ یُعَلِّمُہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ وَ یُزَکِّیۡہِمۡ ؕ اِنَّکَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِیۡزُ الۡحَکِیۡمُ ﴿۱۲۹﴾ 2:129 کَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا فِیۡکُمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡکُمۡ یَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡکُمۡ اٰیٰتِنَا وَ یُزَکِّیۡکُمۡ وَ یُعَلِّمُکُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ وَ یُعَلِّمُکُمۡ مَّا لَمۡ تَکُوۡنُوۡا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۱﴾ؕۛ 2:151 لَقَدۡ مَنَّ اللّٰہُ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اِذۡ بَعَثَ فِیۡہِمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ یَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡہِمۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ وَ یُزَکِّیۡہِمۡ وَ یُعَلِّمُہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ ۚ وَ اِنۡ کَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ لَفِیۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ 3:164 ہُوَ الَّذِیۡ بَعَثَ فِی الۡاُمِّیّٖنَ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡہُمۡ یَتۡلُوۡا عَلَیۡہِمۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ وَ یُزَکِّیۡہِمۡ وَ یُعَلِّمُہُمُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَ الۡحِکۡمَۃَ ٭ وَ اِنۡ کَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ لَفِیۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ۙ﴿۲﴾ 62:2 In these four verses, three purposes of the sending of Prophet PBUH have been clearly explained: 1. Narration of the Book 2. Education of the Book 3. Purification thereby. Narration of the Book is the Mushaf, the actual text of Quran. Whereas, Education of the Book is found in Sunnah which is preserved in Hadith, Alhamdulillah. Education includes the explainig of difficult things, detailing of concise things, procedure to act upon the commandments of Islam. One more Analgesic: As Quran itself was compiled in single Book after the demise of Prophet PBUH, now what about it, discard it? And how did Quran reach us? It is through very those people whose credibility you are challenging. It is well established fact that companios of Prophet PBUH gave enormous importance to Prophet's sayings as it was Prophet PBUH himself who was saying that this is Quran and what does it mean. This is comment is not categoricaly directed to Ghamidi Sahib beacuse he is a believer in Sunnah which in turn is found in Hadith though his way of talking leaves somewhat Quranist impression. I have read his book, Meezan and resort to his commentry Al Bayan when I need. This comment is directed towards rejectors of Hadith and Quranists.

The problem is when Scholars explain the Quran in their mind is translation of Quran, tafsir of Quran and the Hadith. When explaining Qur'an the whole of Quran need to be in mind or at least every verse connected to subject matter being discussed. Then the original and pure Deen becomes exposed to Muslims. The original and pure Deen is preserved in Holy Qur'an which Allah's last Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) bought fourteen centuries ago. Need to recite Quran without perceptions or assumptions with clear mind in order to obtain guidance and treated it as a Furqan the criterion between truth and falsehood.

السلام علیکم و رحمة الله و بركات From 2:52 to 3:02, a very interesting point is there....... If I understood it correctly, it meant that Sunnah is recorded in Fiqh Books. But Which among the Four well known Fiqh Books (of which school of thought) one should consult to know the Sunnah ? Are Fiqh Books Superior than Hadith books to know Sunnah? Kuch Samaj nahi aa raha......

This concept is equivalent to E=mc2 landmark equation.

Yahan pe end pe ye baat nahi ki Ghamidi sb ne k kisi hadees pa jab itmenan ho jae ga to us pe amal kerna he eman ka taqaza hai aur ye baat ye kabhi ker dete hai kabhi nahi bhi kerte to is se log kehte hai k phir hadees se jab koi hukum nahi lena to ye hadees ko na maan-na he hua. Is liye wo baat inhain lazmi kerni chahiye kyu k ye sunnat aur hadees ka mamla he bunyadi ikhtilaf ka baes hai.

اصل میں لوگ نعوذوباللہ حدیث سے جان چھڑانے کے چکر میں ھیں ۔اللہ حفاظت فرمائے اس چکر میں اسلام سے ھی نہ ہاتھ دھونے پڑ جائیں۔ حدیث کو چھوڑ کرسیرت النبی کیسے ملے گی۔نماز ،وضوکا طریقہ کہاںسے ملے گا۔روزہ،زکوت،حج ،کا طریقہ کہا ں سےملے گا

یہ جو سنت آپ فرما ریے ہیں؟ یہ کس کتاب سے آپ کو ملے؟ براہِ کرم وضاحت کیجئے؟
