Un beau spectacle, très touchant de voir le grand-père jouer de la musique ave.c son beau brin de petite-fille... Petite fille débordante d'énergie

This Cajun music touches your soul and the 3 thumbs down obviously have no soul to touch. Hadley will be playing his fiddle in heaven and even God will be tapping his feet.

I know that I'm late to this conversation, but I must say that this is a great rendition of an old favorite of mine. It was written by Rod Bernard, a local entertainer and radio and television personality in Lafayette, Louisiana in the 1950s and 1960s. One other note, though the French in Canada and Louisiana are obviously connected ethnically and historically, there has been a concerted effort to connect the two Diaspora French communities culturally since the 1960s. At one point, Quebec had a consular office in my family's office building in Lafayette.

Thank you for preserving this. It was Hadley's last time on stage. When we got home doctors discovered the tumor that killed him in October. He was a treasure. And Sara is a chip off the old block!

I love Sarah Jade's voice. As good, if not better, than any singer on Glee. Hell, she could have been on Broadway.

You can see both Native American and French in their genetics. My grandmother looked a lot like this grandfather and his granddaughter. I've heard it said that America has no history, being a relatively new nation and so latch on to others history. What they don't understand is that the worlds history is our history fused into one. What great music people of the world can play when they become one.

All depends.. as a nation relatively young, as a people as old as they come

Hadley announced the second song as Ma Chere Cajun Bebe, by Hank Williams (My Dear Cajun Baby). He also asked in French how many people understood English :)
