I've been watching Catfish Dave Steve Douglas Richard Gene the fishing machine before KZfaq really took off with catfishing we've grown into a wonderful large family and it is amazing how for the most part we all get along. Hagen great video. I had same situation recently in my last live where I had to wait out my first flathead. He got me hung up and I waited almost 30 minutes for him to come out. Bonus with Catfish Dave. 🤘🤘

Poor fish sitting there trying to eat in peace. Then here comes a round shiny ball and picks a fight by constantly bopping him on the head. Fishermen, these fish are all beat up. This one even ate my sinker! Fish, ya think! Good fishing trip guys! I wish we had nice cats here in SW Va. Best I have ever caught around here was a 35-40 lb flathead. On the trip before I did catch a 15 lb flathead and that was my best until the next trip. Saltwater fishing taught me one thing. Small fish can PULL!!

There doesn’t happen to be a hydroelectric dam near that area is there. Here in my part of Missouri you catch catfish torn up like that all year round because they open the dam and they go into a feeding frenzy when the alarm goes off. Everything that comes through those gates after that they will try to eat and as a result they get really torn up just like that. Don’t matter if it’s dead of winter or mid spring I see them like that all the time
