Wow this crazy little box 📦 is unstoppable I don’t think there’s too many pieces of machinery in the world that would get through that kind of stuff. I want one!

Awesome, I drove one of these in the 80s while stationed in Alaska. Great cehicle, you can haul lots of gear. Fiberglass shell, you can push over 3 inch trees if need be. Not too bad of a ride as long as you are in the front. I loved it, especially in the spring, summer, same environment as here.

I drove these for several years in the UK, Norway and the Falkland Islands. Awesome vehicles that would go pretty much anywhere, could have done with a diff lock on the front and rear cabs a couple of time though.
@satanihelvetet

Yeah, you really miss the diff lock sometimes at this models. That was aviable as an option at later models (with diesel engine).

These little things have been around for a long time, but they never fail to deliver. I had the opportunity to ride one of these. It is pretty much unstoppable. If there are any place where this thing can't go, it's not worth going there anyway. It is an absolute beast.

Drove these in the army. Great machines, lots of fun. They are even amphibious. Two weaknesses though, that high revving diesel never stops sweating and leaking oil, and the lack of diff locks between the four tracks, mean that if one track looses traction, you can get stuck. Happened especially on icy slopes. Top speed about 40km/h, fuel consumption about 11 ltr / 10km in rough terrain. Ours used a mix of kerosene and diesel fuel.

Time to upgrade the bilge pump with an automaticaly cleaned filter forcing the mud out of the vehicle with pressure! The mud covered white round thing under the light brown (rusty?) power train at 8:54 is the bilge pump that seized working due to that exact mud problem, isn't it?

I was driving one of these Hägglund bandvagn BV206 in my military service 93-94 in Sweden. We had a 7.62 mm machine gun on the roof and pulling a 120 mm grenade launcher behind. The BV 206 can also swim in water in about 3 km/h. But 6mm fibre glass was not so good protection from bullits. Fun to see this again though!

It happens, but since Swedish army use them for transportation they are very durable. In my service i mostly ride(slept)in the back. Except when we crossed a river with ice floating around us. A big block would probably had made a hole in the fiberglass construction. The only thing it didn´t cope with was ice. We had to be winched up the long slope by an army truck. The first ones made it up, but then the water froze in the slope and we was stuck at the bank. We went up stream so i think the speed was around 1,5-2 mph in water faster downstream of course.
