Motor gets torn down after every weekend anyway. Why not let it go out in style 😎
@EarthSurferUSA

I would be willing to bet that all he did was overheat the water in the cooling system because there was no air flow though the radiators. That abuse, (which I really don't care for myself), is really nothing compared to the dyno durability testing I am sure the factories do. The rev limiter keeps the valves from floating, so it can not blow up that way. But if it did blow up, I think he should probably fire his mechanic/engine tuner. Something Hunter may have considered after his motor blew up in the dragging sand of Southwick. (Should have tuned it a bit richer for that sand is my educated guess.). Call me "rational" if you want, but I don't think burn outs and trying to blow up the engine is the best way to celebrate your victory. If it does blow, it makes your factory bosses and engine tuner look bad, (unless we think it is normal for a fresh built engine to blow up under those conditions.). Let the factories run them to failure on the dyno. To me, I see this action as just a show for the easily amused and technically clueless (fans and rider), which IMO, would be insulting if we knew better. I wonder, would burning the bike to the ground in celebration also be considered "going out in style"? Just my rational opinion. Doug in Michigan

@@jro341 (I assume your 250 is a 2-stroke also) What you don't understand is the reason why you can afford the two strokes, that keep you involved as a consumer in this sport. I won't buy a 4-stroke, (will keep the 2019 YZ250 2-stroke I got for under 7 grand), because I despise the EPA dictatorship and their economic fascism. That is the reason why you don't have the money to buy the bike with the engine forced on the industry by a dictatorship.

@@georgelynch6139 Your FIM will damage the sport in the USA just like they have to the point of only 15 riders on a MXGP gate. Just a matter of time. Now let me educate you on why this series is now "the new world championship". Because the MXGP's days are numbered in Europe, and can not exist much longer. USA is the last place to race, because it was founded properly (but longer followed or understood). This nation was formed out or retaliation against the socialists of Europe. The idea of the USA actually did come from Europe during "the age of reason", but your leaders rejected reason, as the USA is now doing with our terrible leaders, (who don't have the brains to sharpen a pencil). So take your crappy American hating socialist/communist education, and go down peacefully as a poorly educated brain dead citizenry with the rest of us.

@@joeman25 Have you ever seen the movie "Idiocracy", where the entire brain population 500 years from now, cheer when the brain dead police blow up a guys car with the cheers from everybody, including the owner of the car, because of the pretty flame colors? I agree with the poster. This is a sign of a decreasing intellect of the population, and at this rate, it does not look like it is taking 500 years to get to that sub human level. I would have much more hope for the future of mankind if we just popped a Champaign cork instead of brain dead destructive action for a celebration. You know I dig you Joeman. But I have to speak my mind.

Not to take anything away from the young and super talented Haiden Deegan. He is probably the most talented rookie the world has seen since James Stewart, and I am more than sure he will go on to win several more championships. But I have to bash the FIM/AMA here about this "world Championship", and it's point structure for these 3 races. 1st, Haiden did win this pseudo "world championship", fair and square as they all raced under the same rules. Throughout the SX and MX series he has shown he is a threat for a title. But the fact is, he did not win the 18? round SX title or a race, and he did not win the 22 moto national title, (but 3 race wins, and 2 overall's I believe). He was very consistent with top 3 finishes, and only finished out of the top 5 probably less than 4 times in all motos combined. I am protesting the double and triple points paid out for the last 2 rounds of this make believe world championship. I have not done the math, but I suspect if they were normal points, Haiden probably would not have won it. The fact is, a guy could have lead both series for the entire series's, won the real championships, (SX/MX), and just have one DNF in one of the last motos, (-75 points), and lose this so called "world championship". I dig Haiden, but I know a goofy championship when I see one, and the FIM is nothing but a blood sucker in the USA now, as they are failing in Europe. Out of all of that, I will not forget to say, "Congrats Haiden!" I think you will find after some SX/MX championships that this was not really as important, (like every FIM world championship SX and MX since 1981). But you were there at the end more than the rest, when it counted the most. You have amazed this old man, and I suspect you are just getting started. :) Doug in Michigan

You are not alone. Even American students are taught today, (by communism actually), to hate the USA. But I am wise enough to know that when the USA (and the rest of what is left of Western Culture) is gone, we won't have anything to cheer for living in survivor mode under the brute force of the global communism that taught us to hate the founding of the USA. it was the only "moral" founding of any nation on the planet. We are really not that different as citizens, as it was mainly Europeans who were sick of government force that first immigrated to the more free USA. What we need to do is understand the difference, (not taught in any school today), and reject our leadership. We deserve "our" lives, free to think and achieve as is out nature. Not a global dictatorship, rulers of an animal farm.
