I personally believe she's a chameleon and can "mirror" anyone she meets. I would imagine at this type of event knowing all eyes will be on her, she is sure to put on her "best face" per say. I don’t think she did it intentionally, but she has a whole team doing research into this stuff so she was well aware that there was another brand with the same name and she still chose to go forward with it. The problem is that she’s a big celebrity so her brand is going to become the dominant brand and there is already brand confusion. The original Rhode owns the trademark for fashion but not for cosmetics, which is why Hailey was able to trademark hers by the same name under cosmetics. Their other concern is that Hailey has said that she intends to extend into fashion… so she will become direct competition for them under the same name. It’s just really messed up because she could’ve easily chosen any other name.
