Thanks so much for sharing, this info is what's eluded me for so long when trying to help my daughters with their hair and in fixing my own! Smart stuff! You're really a pleasure to watch and listen to, I'm definitely going to take some time to watch more of your tutorials and share them with my three girls who are in their 20s!

Kate, you don't know how much you helped me with this tip regarding fine hair. I have tons of hair and my hair is very thick for the very important exception of around my face. It's very thin at my temples ( sad part of aging. Hehe :) so I can't really pin without skin showing. This tip with teasing is a life saver! Thank you so much Kate!

Thanks for this video. There are some quite useful tips there. However, can you show us to hide those pins? I love it when I see an updos that I can barely see any pins popping out or peek out of the hair. And I hate it when I tried to pin up one sided part, I cannot hide the pin. I learned about pinning into the braid/twist parallel against the scalp, but I get the problem of getting the end nubs stick out.
