The haircut looks way better the second time around and the neck line on the beard does as well but the top of the beard is way sharper on the first cut thats really the only thing the second cut is missing.

the trick is the front area where the sides start.. to slightly lower it in the front to the front going into the shape. Maybe even go higher with the fade or just slightly debulking while keeping the shape you want. I do this in my own cut.

I feel the 2nd was the better overall haircut for sure but keeping a little more weight closer to the 1st might of gave Nick a fuller look. Low fades are the banes in a lot of barbers existence and are pretty hard to pull off, but if you get it right, you changin' lives! Great cut overall tho
