that is not correct. Tonton Macoute was a paramilitary organisation charged with Presidential security and also ensuring that opposition to the Docs was weakened. When Baby Doc was overthrown, the Macoutes were disbanded but they didn't return guns to the government. That's how gangs started in Haiti.

Kenya is not the only country that has sent officers to Haiti. How i wish you people stop this habit of causng anxiety over none issues. So, you want us to imagine that being a media analyst you are rhe only right-thinking Kenyans? The president of Kenya has a lot of information compared to any other Kenyan in several regards. Unfortunately, you try to hold Kenyan policy making an issue of the street and media houses. The man is figuring how to develop the country, pay national debt, fight unemployment etc and you were up and running that it is bad. Somehow , Kenya is preparing for a very dangerous path going forward. Right now you are here trying to terrify us about how dangerous it is for Kenyan police to be in Haiti. You forget that a national army that rarely fights is a dangerous one to have in a country in case of attack. Kenyan police officers are trained even if they went there alone to ensure sanity.
