Pilgrims perform the last major ritual of the hajj, the "stoning of the devil", in western Saudi Arabia, as Muslims the world over celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday.Beginning at dawn, the 1.8 million Muslims undertaking the pilgrimage this year will throw seven stones at each of three concrete walls symbolising the devil in the Mina valley, located outside Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.

It is compulsory during Hajj time that all piligrim sacrifice a goat to please God. Although there are similarities between Islamic practices and Hinduism, it is important to respect and understand the nuances of each religion and culture. They are not literally “stoning the devil”. The practice is in emulation of the prophet Ibrahim, who was confronted by the devil whilst trying to fulfill a command of God. So ibrahim hurled stones at the devil to chase him away. This action is emulated by pilgrims to symbolise our commitment to fulfilling all of God’s laws, no matter what obstacles come in our way. Similarly, Muslims circumambulate the ka’ba, which is the place of worship built by Ibrahim and his son Ismail. The circumambulation symbolises rejection of polytheism, and belief in One God.

Allah is Arabic for Eloah and Eloah is Aramaic for Elohim which is the Hebrew name for God. They worship a God who derives from the God of the Jews but have twisted Gods character. . Elohim is plural meaning more than one. So Allah is a man made twisted replication of the Hebrew God. Look it up its all on Google wikipeidia etc. And if Islam needs physical evidence for everything then can it really be called a faith?
