Gotta admit, the guitars, drums and everything is pretty chocolate cakey. Bass drum is perfect, not a cockroach-to-windscreen-"bass" drum but a proper one, with punch and air. Snare cuts through just the right amount most of the time. Still, I'm missing actual ringing toms in modern metal music, but I guess they take it out because it makes the mix muddy or something? But seriously, the toms' ring doesn't cut through at all, as if it was just 100% taken out deliberately. I mean, if the toms are played 3 % of the time, why can't they just ring like they should, I don't get it
@chrismills77034 жыл бұрын
@@nenissaK Sorta answered your own question. Sure maybe he only plays the toms 3% of time overall, but its not like he hits one tom every thirty seconds or something, he hits a bunch of them all in a short period of time like in a fill or something like 2:15. All that ringiness would just get in the way and clutter things up real quick

Ray Hearne está muy subestimado. Su batería en Vector era una locura. [I used google translator, hope it worked!]

Haven't heard much of Haken yet but Symphony X f*cking rules, best singer ever and one of the greatest guitarist.

@@scutrera2 I do like James LaBrie, but sometimes I wish Russell Allen was suddenly the lead singer of Dream Theater too. Hopefully we get some new Symphony X soon.
