Hokkaido! On Japan's north island is the city of Hakodate and here you will get the best seafood in Japan.
That's right - the fish caught here eventually goes to Tsukiji so it's freshest from the origin.
Today's breakfast was KAISENDON 海鮮丼 from ABUYA (油矢) in the Hakodate Morning Market near the JR Hakodate Station.

Pheorach Is it even normal conversations though? Whats good about theese are that it isn't "textbook" stuff like nobody talks and i kinda know the situation here so where i don't understand exactly i can still fill in the blanks because i know what he's done and are there for. For example sometimes i pretty much just understand they respond positive or negative and another word here and there but get most of the point since I can fill in with situational knowledge. In a unknown situation i doubt i would still be able to understand as well. You know? Hope it makes sense x)

These videos have been saving my life lately. Wife and I adopted our second fur baby, but she has to be kept in our room for 5 days to recover from being spayed. I have been having to sleep on the hardwood floor with a body pillow and one hand on top of her to stop her from licking the surgical incision open. I also have to pay attention to our other cat who wants to know why he's banned from "his" room now. I haven't really slept for two days and without these chill-as-heck videos to show me rad sights of Japan, I'd have lost my marbles and been in Never-Never Land for sure. Really love everything you produce, man. You've got such genuine heart for Japan, it always comes through no matter what you're doing.

I was at the market at 45:01. I was with a tour group at that point of time and I remembered there's a wood craving shop selling handmade wood craved owls. The owner, a 50-60 year oldish uncle, is very nice and friendly. At that point of time, my Japanese was very basic, like I only know how to say "Hello", "Excuse me", "Thank you" and "I am from Singapore". But he is very nice and understanding and he can speak a little bit of English. So I bought some key chains from him and he asked if I want to crave my name on it. After that, we took a picture together because I really want to remember that moment. For those who wants to buy the wood craved owl, it is quite expensive.
