NOTIFICATION SQUAD: To miss the Natsuki cameo in this video would be a crime! Well folks, you can't beat a good road trip and this was easily one of the most fun videos I've produced in 9 years. A HUGE thanks to my best American friend PETE for coming along for the ride (even if his motives were questionable). You can find him over on Twitch where he streams most nights (🌟www.twitch.tv/premiertwo ) and I look forward to stopping by and doing some shows with him in a few weeks to celebrate surviving our journey.

@@pajamaman2989 Really? In my part of the country, or maybe those of my generation in this part of the country at least, are skilled in being sarcastic assholes. America is like a patchwork quilt. No patch is alike, and many of the patches clash. If you want me to be annoyingly perky, it's going to be a lot of work. If I'm billed for any of that hard work, that perk will never happen again. @@AbroadinJapan Chris you may not get this refrence but "for the mug" is a journey I understand. See in Elite Dangerous there's a station called Hutton Orbital out near Proxima Centauri. The problem is you can't just jump to Proxima Centauri, you have to jump to Alpha Centauri, then fly in Supercruise for 70+ minutes. So Hutton Orbital sells a commiserative mug. There's also a near by beacon that's called "For The Mug" and if you scan it, the beacon tells the history of Hutton Orbital, the mug, and the Hutton Truckers(a group of independent long haul space freight carriers).

There's a german style beer hall in one of the red brick houses along the river that is simply named "小樽ビール(Otaru beer)" that offers just incredibly tasty beer which is no wonder since an experienced german meister does the brewing there. They don't ship their products to any location that is 100 km or further from the hall to ensure its freshness. If you are in Otaru or even in Sapporo, I highly recommend checking it out.
