yes, engine cooling is exhausting faster and you cannot fly at a high average speed because of the low cruise speed. As I mentioned in the table, engine cooling time is short and cruise speed is low, so you need to use engine cooling for a longer time to reach maximum speed. However, this is about how far the enemy ship you want to attack is from you. So if you are attacking close targets, the legendary upgrade is more advantageous, but it loses this advantage on distant targets.

In Tier 10 battles, Hakuryu can be destroyed instantly when spotted in bad position, very risky.

It’s long range aura continuous damage is reduced to 2/3 of what Slava has and flak dmg is a joke. I attacked Kremlin on my GZ (that has very weak planes in T8, weaker than T7 Kaga planes in fact) and did 5 attacks (5 times flying the whole squad into him). He shot down 8 planes, 4 of them were the slow rocket planes. Lmao.

@@Leo-jf8ww nah... I've used it once, but the traverse speed is just abominable. You cannot have good effectiveness under many crucial circumstances, especially fighting against surprise attacks or one-on-one DD engagement.

In the game its hakuryu i cant tell you if its a shinano class cv

basically, with legend mod upgrade, your planes will be faster 20% , but the drawback is engine boost duration is reduced by 20%. it makes your planes faster overall and entering-exiting flak will be much faster but your engine boost duration is cut by 20%, so if you somewhat miscalculated your engine boost duration when entering the flak, even when you have faster speed, your planes will get shot down. the differenc is it's not that punishing. so if you have problem conserving planes in hakuryu, considering legendary mod is a good option, but if you don't have problem with conserving planes, don't even bother taking it

Improves max speed aka speed when boosting, decreases cruising speed aka speed without boosting

means lower speed when not in engeen boost, that lead to less attack runs for 1 battle overall
