I agree with WG and their constant nerfs and adjustments, the fun and thrilling aspects of the game have been lost. Anyone remember the good old tactical map CV gameplay? That was so thrilling.

I like how BB switch from citadelable to uncitadelable state for ap bombers, for example Bourgone was citadelabe 2 ranked seasons ago, now its almost immune.

That drop was like knowing all the lottery numbers, use it and still do not win the prize.

The carrier is from Honkai Impact 3rd. A parallel of the Hyperion Class called Cronus. Since our guy posted the video didn't link the mod, I'm guessing its either he didnt want to share it or not promoting the mod, but the mod can be found in Sea Group website. God I completely agree with you. Picked up the Hakuryu after getting sick of people playing at the back of the map. I managed to naturally be good at it after playing Shokaku, but oh my god. CVs ARE STRESSFUL. I used to mock the CVs as most people do, but man they carry, they try they’re best in every game and often do a lot of damage. Yet they’re the most stressed and most ridiculed players in the game. I’m kinda sad that they added the new Swedish DDs as they are more of a AA threat than even Worcester or Minotaur. I’m a veteran WOWs player and I now understand the difficulties of the CVs. Currently they are unfun and very challenging and taxing to play. I hope WG would somehow buff the planes or make it so maneuvering decreased AA performance or something.

Mod looked pretty good and doesn't mess with game play. The Kitakaze could hold "A" but made sure they kept their heads down pretty good. Nice demo of the mod!

The fact that the bombers are replaced with the Eclipse bomber from star citizen makes me want a version of this where hakuyru is the bengal carrier from star citizen and the fighters are F7a hornets.

1:28 The plane he sent out is actually a stealth bomber called the aegis eclipse from a game called Star Citizen. Was not expecting to see it here in a war thunder game lol. If you wondering what star citizen is it is basically kinda like eva online or elite dangerous but made to be more quality over quantity. It is still in development but you can play the game in its alpha stage. I have been since 2016 :P

I did pretty good with my Hak. Rarely under 100k per match. I just got it recently so I have no idea how overpowered it was back in the day. At first I thought the Hak main role is to torp bbs but later I realize that I enjoy AP bombing cruisers much more. Camping cruisers are the perfect targets. American cruisers are usually overconfident of their AA and don’t actively maneuver to evade planes and are easy to line up the bombing run. 2-3 citadels per drop is not uncommon, inflicting 18-28k of non-healable cit damage, which severely hinders the cruiser’s ability to later push aggressively.

I know how you feel TT. Playing CVs isn't really the same as it was a few months ago. The main thing that happened was the whole idea of reworked CVs. With the new action carrier style, this made grouping and escorting very important (cruiser + BB / DD) and brought on teamplay strategies. The issue: players don't want to change their playstyles because damage numbers are everything. The thing that many players don't realize is the fact that the new CV's excels on enemy misplays. CV's don't rely on their own teammates to play well but relies on the enemy to misplay/misposition. If the enemy stay in groups of 3 or 4 for each point/section of the map, the CV, no matter how good or unicum, won't be able to do much without losing most, if not all, of his squadrons. Thus, hurting him for the rest of the round. With nonstop complaints and forum posts about CV this and CV that, WG is starting to put the nail in the coffin for CVs and my interest in playing them anymore. It sucks, TT. It really sucks. You brought me to CVs back in 0.8.0 and when I found you with a very small subscriber count, but idk man. Motivation to keep playing this class is becoming very stale. Sure, a new CV announced with bunch of gimmicks got me super excited and all, but the 100kts plane speed (Ark Royal) is another nail that I don't like being FDR's weakness. Why the plane speed? Why not lower alpha per torp/rocket/bomb but more planes per attack squadron while keeping a decent plane speed? There's no voice for CVs in the company or in the community representative and all we get is hate. It's hard, man

It feels weird seeing stuff taken from multiple games all thrown together in a single battle, especially when the enemy is still using old WWII era ships. It would be nice if there is Bengal carrier or even the Javelin from SC. Would be interesting to see how Hyperion fare against those.

I feel you dude with the team. it's really funny how everyone wants your support, but when you need it they just ignore you (once I was chased by Shimakaze, 2 our cruisers had a perfect shot on her, but ignored her and then had the gall to say that *I* didn't give them much support) also didn't really feel any nerf exept for the rocket dmg against DDs

To anyone asking about the Skin for the ship you can get it for FREE with a MODPACK. There are only two mod packs the wargaming allows which is Aslain’s modpack and Modstation. These mod packs have more the skins they have custom sights, hud, and even custom ports and since all the mods don’t help you cheat in anyway you won’t get ban from World of Warships

I use to play WOWS too, i never got to the carriers to try them but after the nerfdate not just the CVs were messed with and I stopped playing after that. They lost alot of player pop but still they keep on. I hope they get there eyes open before the game sinks into the ocean of history.

advice for all dd mains for dealing with cvs ; try them out , you will understand the cvs offence which gives you the ability to augment your cv defence strat base on yout own expereince hunting dds in a cv ( i secondary dds )(personaly with this strat i figured out the turn aa off trick because i reneberd getting hits on dds in smoke by tracing the aa to figrue out where the ship is ) granted im a noob (teir VI) but playing cvs realy elevated my dd game so i wanted to share this
