Try turning it down a bit, the effect is funny and all but that was too much(I wanted to see if you really got those 3 *juicy* citadels, it's worthy of being in some sort of "most satisfying" compilation WOWs style). Other then that I'm loving these edits. Feels like won't be much longer until we get some featherweight weeb edits. Which just saying, I'm all for. Regardless, I've started playing this game just a couple of weeks and I'm a fellow CV main. Shokaku is one hell of a powerhouse but can be pretty useless without experience.

@@derek96720 It is a threat. You completely missed the point they are making. The Cleveland used her defensive AA ability on rockets which are hard for her long range AA to hit due to their speed, and aren't a threat to her anyway. So when Toptier came back with dive bombers, no more defensive AA. It's not the ship's fault if the player can't click one simple button at the right time. The other point is that player's going to complain about CVs then, thinking the planes are indestructible...but they're not. He just can't use simple AA properly. You're just as clueless though, apparently. Especially when the video keeps bloody mentioning it.

that was a great game and i like your video with the comment in there! it's so simple to be understand. but if you dont mind. could you make a tutorial or explanation video about the different between the CV's each nations? the pros and cons. it will be very helpfully for new CV's player like me to find their play style on the best line.

I'm not an expert but here are the major pros and cons of each nation cvs (if someone wants to change or add something do it :) : IJN: Fragile planes with pretty weak rockets, but hard hitting and fast torps, and the rng base ap bombs. Those bombs, if place correctly can citadel a ship, dealing massive damages, but if you miss the citadel, well it won't do much. IJN have little attack squadron, but if placed correctly can hit hard with torps and bombs and you can attack multiple times (for example with hakuryu, your max size group of torpedo bombers will be 12, and you can do 6 launches with 2 planes each time). I believe the IJN cvs are more "skilled" and more competitive (it's a personal opinion but it's damage potential is huge if you have a really good accuracy) but you'ok have to be cautious about your reserves. The USN cvs are more arcade based: your bombs and torpedoes hit less hard, but you throw a ton of them on each attack. You're more a swarm tactic cv. Also you have the tiny tims, which are rockets more useful because they have enough penetration to penetrate most of the basic armor of ships. RN cvs are basically fire spammers. You just throw 10 thousand tons of rockets and bombs on each attacks. They are the tankier of the planes, even though they still won't be able to sustain heavy aa fire for too long. Oh and their torps are more snail like than fish like. Finally you have the graf zeppelin, I don't know it much except her planes are fast but really fragile, basically made for blitzkrieg attacks (your dive bombers can shoot almost immediately after launching the attack) and you have really good secondaries to troll dds.

You will make it or not is back to you :) my advice is based on many thread on forums that's not really updated again, so its really hard to gather information and detail. Also, i think you can make it based as old cv's player who have experience with many cv 😆

In Additional for cv player, When you hunt dd always watch your plane detect indicator, It almost tells you the exact position of dd(when there is no CA/CV around) And normally I would ask my team to get rid of cleave or others AA ship, I wouldn’t dive my plane into AA or maybe use your plane as bait for AA defense is a good plan.

Dr. Clickbait You have to guess or looking for clue of their dd where they’re heading to, and then when you fly your plane near the point you guess, If your plane got spotted, the edge of the circle(detectable range of your plane) will tell you almost the exact position of dd(you’ll see when you plane got spotted)

I dont know of I'm just a noob or not but the enemy aa just destroys my planes within seconds and I cant do much about. It feels so frustating after playing many hours to unlock the shokaku and playing rounds with 15k damage. Do u have any tips? Btw I already change my speed while engaging enemys

Toptier, can you do tips and tricks for AP Dive Bombers? I haven't been having much luck on my Ryujo and its making me dread the rest of the Line but I'd like to give it one last shot

Chose the target carefully, basically any ijn, ru or rn bbs. Cruiser is fine too, but much harder. If you see a Fuso in your game, basically it is your prime food. Use your AP bomb and release it right in the middle of Fuso, you will most likely get 1 citadel. If you dont get it, well that Fuso is good at manuevering.

Cleveland can't be a big threat in the group. What makes her dangerous is that she camps around the cap circle. She can detect with Radar and Hydro, and can prevent you from hunting destroyers with Def AA. Other ships can not camp behind islands like Cleveland. in the open area, she's not a threat. For different scenarios, constantly spot if you can't attack. Your teammates will eventually destroy her.

Just ignore them and focus on the others which left or alone(*but not alone IOWA*) Check CV position and tell your team to do the job.

Just unlocked my shoukaku a few days ago. This is the furthest I've gotten with CVs and the last time I spent a long time using them was a while before the rework before I took a long break from the game. I kind of regret having IJN CV because of the AP bombs in particular. I don't remember how many guides I've watched or Googled, practice and bot matches I've done, and research on ship armor and shell mechanics I've done. Feels like my usage of them has only slightly improved due to the vagueness of their descriptions in tutorials and situational effectiveness. "Drop mid to low on heavy armor, low on light armor/cruisers, and obviously avoid DDs, as well as avoid superstructures. All of this on only CERTAIN faction cruisers and BBs." So generally I try to aim for halfway on the front deck. Even then, dropping at the same target area and height, sometimes I'll get citadels, other times ricochets, and it feels like there's so little feedback that I have no idea if I'm dropping correctly or not. They just feel unreliable in general even if I feel like I did a perfect drop, so I guess I'm just bad. But I'm great with torp bombers so Kaga seems like she'd be a dream come true. Only niche I feel like I can reliably citadel with AP divebombers is Italian cruisers with their delicious candy cane decks for some unknown reason .

IJN DBs are great for Battleships, German in particular but also Japanese. Try to drop at a higher altittude for them, which gives more risk of fail but improves damage. remember that dropping at higher altittude will also increase the bomb flight time

I'm not a high tier CV player, the highest I have is the Furious and I am working to get my Ranger (cuz I didn't liked the Furious tbh). But for my little experience, the only thing that relies on you ability on CV are the torps. They go where you aim, just like that. Rockets can do some crazy manouvers out of where I want to shoot as well bombs. As I play Langley, I almost never go to cruisers with bombs. It just can't hit reliably with only 2 bombs unless the target is going straight. I have played hosho as well and fells the same. Give good hits with only 2 bombs are hard to do on cruisers, so mostly I use them on battleships and on cruisers just when I want to put faith on my RNG, but I rather use torps on a cruiser than bombs. (However with RN CVs I go with bombs only for cruisers, cuz it can't pen a good amount of battleships)

@Maximilian L at the highest altitude, bombs drop at almost 90°, making them go deeper into enemy ship and reach citadel easier. In cruisers, that extra penetration usually makes bombs to overpen

@@bladeclanhalo3 Cleveland didn't make mistakes. She's an AA cruiser ffs. Her role is literally to be a mobile AA kill zone, yet the CV rolled over her like she was nothing. That's not balanced at all, especially given that CVs regen all their fighters yet cruisers have limited DAA.

I think ibuki did it right with def aa on rockets though. to Ibuki rocket is more threat than dive bomber, which purely mostly rely on luck. But who tf play deff aa ibuki anyway?

Not to steal the thunder but the cleveland can get blown up for a million points with ap dive bombers even if he is going full 360 at max speed.In my exp ,who is doing what isn't very important when the dive bombers come!

Just started the video and i didn't see any mistake from Cleveland melting your whole rocket squadron using his Def AA... By the time you came back his Def AA was off cooldown and ready again... loosing a whole squadron to do 3k dmg is not worth, even against a radar cruiser. Still he was killed anyway in the end ^^

1:04 cleveland used def aa, 40 seconds action time plus 80 seconds reload (with premium) = next deff aa will be ready around 3:04 . 2:05 2x citadel, 3:05 double torpedo she used Def AA against hopeless rocket squadron and left herself vulnerable for two minutes.

@@TTier I see your point, but still rockets have the best chances of damaging his Cleveland and the most difficult to avoid without using def AA, so honestly wiping out the whole rocket squadron with AA was the best call for him at that moment, no matter how in the end got sunken anyway ^^

WOW! What a amazing nice play! Anyway I'm really disappointed your "Thumb nail, Rising sun flag pattern". Because, you are same as influencer of the game[ World of Warships] also, representer of that game, but you used the "Risign Sun" pattern. This is the problem. Hello, I from Korea. Not North Korea. XD May I say something to tell the history of Rising Sun Flag? If you don't want to read this just skip. Many people didn't know meaning of Rising sun flag. So, you can see this pattern in media(Advertisement on TV or dress passion show and so on). But it's make a global issue. Because "Rising sun flag" is symbol of "Imperail Japan"(i'll call this IJ) and it's SAME AS "Hakenkreuz" of Nazi, "Swastika" of Nazi. Most of people know Nazi's done. In Europe, many Jew was killed by Nazi and Nazi started "World War II". At that same time, In East-Asia, many Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese was killed by "IJ". Also, many Koreans were forced into the Japan's war(=Pacific War etc). Typically, many women were taken to comfort women in war. According to record, they had a sleep with 70 soldiers a day. The important thing is they were composed of teen girls. Imagine your adolescent daughter slept with 70 soldiers a day. So sad history, isn't it? Surprisingly, "IJ" made a "Unit 731" which is called "maruta". "Maruta" did a biological experiment. So many lives were forced into their experiment. According to record ,"maruta" cut the pregnant women's belly and extract fetus(living women), heat test in the tank (person trapped) etc. I cannot tell all the history of the "IJ"s done. Because there are so many similar kinds of history. It is also very cruel. But it is fact and history. I know the evils that the Japanese Empire did. There is more than what you wrote above. But this flag is part of Japanese culture and has existed since the 16th century. Being used by bad people in a period does not make it a symbol of evil. I live in Europe and this flag was not banned by the European Parliament. As for the game, Isoroku Yamamoto is a hero in this game. I think he is the person you need to protest.

But you need to know our global society hate that symbols. For example, Fashion School Apologizes for Photos of Rising Sun Flag to Korean last December. Im not against Swastika, it is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon in the cultures of Eurasia but I have to follow the rules of the society I am in. Rising Sun will be used in the Tokyo Olympics, and the Japanese navy still uses this flag. If Korea boycotts the Tokyo Olympics, I think the world can reconsider this issue.
