Try to google "Does plant have feeling?" and you will see there's an explanation how Plant actually does not have any feelings, although it can sense emotions. Plants don't have nervous systems or brains, so they may have NO biological need to feel pain. Maybe do some more research before pulling the nerve? @Bashart Ali I'm not saying not to eat animals at all. it's just a matter of fact that humans over-consume meat nowadays, they forcefully breed cows and chickens. I'm not against eating animals if it's for survival. Think objectively, don't attack a person just because they have different perspective in seeing the world. Grow up!

Beef (cows meat) is perfectly legal in Indian states of kerala, goa, west Bengal and north east for all those who don't know.. Rest part of India carabeef (buffalo's meat) is substituted for cows meat..

Telecom India In Kerala, 90% eat Buffalo or Ox mostly..i am from Kerala and i never ate cows meat. Nobody wants to kill a productive animal like a cow (nothing religious about cow in Kerala, but a cow is worth alive than as meat)

Rajeev Raj what about those who are unproductive? Which stopped producing milk? There is age of cow till they produce milk, after that they are unproductive! No dairy business can succeed without elimination of unproductive cows, so whenever cows pass their productive age they are butchered for meat, leather, tallow and loads of other things. Beef eaten in Kerala is as much as of Cow's as that of ox and Buffalo.

The tastiest meat is beef. But you Hindus won't understand that. Pork is not allowed for us so we can't how that tastes. And we'll never taste that. But we have no problems if someone else is eating pork in front of us.

What is called "beef" in India is not actually cow meat. You can find many places that say that they sell beef but it's usually from buffaloes not cows. Some places do offer cow meat in Southern and Northeastern India but the rest don't. In most Indian states cow meat is banned. So even if anybody says that it's beef in one of those states it's not.

The best explanation on what is "halal" food. Most people mistakenly thought that halal is just the apply on the type of meat. But even chicken can become "haram" for muslims if they didn't prepare it in the right way. Good job host.
