This video explains about how to preserve jackseeds and jackpods. Our ancestors were using these methods to store them for a year. We have to take several precautions in this process. If we follow certain conditions, we can use whenever we need it. We can prepare several dishes like roti, undlukalu, pappads, curry etc. From the preserved jackseeds and jackpods. *First method of storing seeds is using soil and the other is using a plant known as enjir ( calycopteris floribunda leaves)
The method of storing jackpods is by using salt..

Very interesting to watch. Never knew you can preserve jack fruit pods and seeds like this. Jack fruit is my favorite fruit. I get fresh good ones only once in a while here in the USA.
