To unlock this ending you have to 100% GTA:SA, and make sure you find the hidden chumtoad in Opposing Force, now save and quit. Note that Half-Life 1 must be completed up to the Lambda Core chapter just before Xen on Hard difficulty. Once you jump into teleporter to Xen, (HL1) IMMEDIATELY exit the game. Now load the save from where you found the chumtoad. if you did all of this correctly, you will unlock this ending and HL3 will be installed on your computer.
