Just got back from our 1st visit to the island. Wish I would have watched this before I left Baltimore. Great info on the clamshells and walking further down. We could not stay long enough due to the constant sun and no shade. But it is an amazing beach!!

Is there a place for scooters on the tender and at port? Is there a sidewalk or something?

We have seen many scooters go on many water shuttles. we cannot guarantee it. Sometimes they don’t take them due to weather. And there are some sidewalks and a road in back of all the buildings. Great Video! We have a cruise planned in May and are deciding what to do each day. We are looking into renting a clamshell. How did you guys save your clamshell while you were walking around? Did you feel comfortable leaving your things in the clamshell to walk around, visit a bar, etc.?

They assign them to you when you get there. You get to pick, but it's yours for the day. We left towels and bags there to 'mark' it. When we walked around, we took our cameras and phones. Hey I have a question. I booked a clamshell two months ago and me and my girlfriends cruise starts in just 2 days. Are you allowed to choose where the clamshell is located? Or do they choose the location for you? This is our very first ever cruise and I’ve been asking a lot of questions just to make sure we are well informed before we set sail.

When you first get off the tender, there’s a plaza area with tables and chairs. When we were there (2 weeks ago) there was an excellent two man band playing.
