Saw Boston on their second Tour with Sammy Hagar and the Doobies showed up in 01' at Farm Aid without even being on the Bill as a surprise guest, donated their time, music and gas to play, they were great.

I got my love for the Doobie Brothers from my dad. My parents are deaf. My mom is profoundly deaf my father had a very low percent of hearing so me and my little brother got taken to school with the 8 track BLARING the Doobies, Blondie, and the Eagles... The other kids thought we were so cool.... This brings back so many great memories... Thank you so much... S\N Michael McDonald was a smooth dude. His voice is PHENOMENAL!!!! Plus he was a cutie !!! Doobie Bros!!! I LOVE them!! Have since the early 70s. Roll a big fat doobie and enjoy! They did. A lot. ✌️❤️🎶🤭 We did have a blast then. We'd go to the 45yo female dealers house to get our mj and 4 or 5 police would be in uniform trippin on the floor. She for real named her son Toke. When we'd get pulled over for going too slow on the interstate they just kept our weed and let us go. We passed joints from car to car at the red lights with police watching us. It was so much fun to see how far we could take it. Without love where would you be now...

Playing For Change is a consortium of musicians similar to Post Modern Jukebox, that use a compilation of artist from around the world. The sitar solo is worth a watch alone. You all could spend one monster time reacting to the DOOBS. I suggest the song THE DOCTOR. It featured the return of tom Johnson on lead vocals. They were one of the best groups of the 70s. We of the 70s maintain we had the best music ever written n played. We gathered in groups partying and we didn't have to hurt nobody or destroy property. We just enjoyed the fun we were having.
