I would love a snapon box but as a hobby DIY tool user the 56" sgs box I now have is plenty good enough for home. Maybe 1 day if I get a proper workshop I might treat myself to 1 lol👍

@@TheYorkshireMix snapons mainly a hobby for me i buy tools and leave them in the box haha, ive got 4 snapon boxes now traded in my gulf racing box for the lancia delta 40” to have at home, i also have the ford rs ‘retro annual meet’ box and locker at home i just couldnt resist them both haha, ive had the corvete 50th since i was 5 my dad bought it for me 20 years ago and its sadly being used at work just now and im feart to ruin it! So once i get a halfords box i can take that home along with my green locker as i have a green box set up which i bkugjt when i started as a plant mechanic which my dads now using, bringing it all hone will be a big pain as we aint got the space yet lol I get the snapon bug from my dad who had a massive collection but a lot was lost to fires and the rest stolen years ago so started pver again

@@Kieran_OPC it's not a bad hobby to have collecting tools. It does get very addictive. I must admit I do keep looking at snapon tools but I can't justify the price at the moment. I'm happy with my Halfords tools for now but I might upgrade in a few years👍

If you remove the drawer liner they did fit ok but the new style trays should fit no problem 👍

To be honest mate I've no idea if it will fit. If you look on the Halfords website it will give you the size of it 👍

Unless you plan on sending it round a racetrack on 2 wheels i think you will be fine mate 😂 they might occasionally open if you don't lock them and have heavy tools in the drawers when driving like a mad man but I think that would take some doing. The locks will definitely hold them closed though as I think it would take a very large amount of force to pull 1 open if its locked. Hooe this helps 👍

It was December 2018 when I got these. Ive sold them now though and upgraded to a sgs 56 inch tool box instead. Review of that is also on my channel 👍

@@TheYorkshireMix I'm a home DIY'r mostly but have my tools strewn over 4 or 5 different boxes and totes, would you say the Halfords Advanced stuff would suit me or would you not recommend them ?

@@buggbairn im also a home DIY'r and I cant fault the Halfords advanced tool. I only sold the box as I needed something bigger as both tool boxes I had were overflowing. The new box takes up the same space as both my old boxes but I now have loads more room to fit more tool in lol. For the price and the lifetime guarantee on the Halfords advanced hand tools I don't think you can beat them although I do think us pro tools are just as good but im not sure what guarantee you get with those 👍

Theyre always on sale every year, i just got the tool cart yesterday to use instead pf abusing my precious snapon box lol cant wait to buy one of these as a cheap abusable toolbox for work instead of havingmy snapon one get damaged which is bound to happen.. need to get it back home soon

@@TheYorkshireMix I only just found you’re channel lol , I have subbed , the problem I had with the box was that the top box was just not good enough in my opinion, draws not lock and you can open the top with a screw driver if you wanted to , as a professional mechanic using the box for the last year it’s terrible for every day usage , I’m 18 and so I think I’ll be moving on to SGS soon my friend

@@lgbk5957 cheers pal I appreciate the sub. I do agree. The top box didn't seem to be as good a quality as the bottom box. I did have some problems with the drawers not closingproperly. I can't fault the sgs box though👍

Yeah if I was using them all the time as my job then I wouldn't have gone for them but as a hobby tool I Don't think you can get better for the price. The Halfords box and all the tools is cheaper than a small high quality toolbox like mac or snapon and it still comes with the lifetime warranty 👍

Ye fair play to what you say and if i had the money i would get a better box but i am still young and learning my job so ny box will do for now also i think stuff in the adavance tools are crap like the 3/8 screwdriver sockets as i snaped a flat head screwdriver taking a pan head bolt of a job
