First, DDG is a perfect match for Halle. He adores her and his son Halo. Second, It was so sweet of him to honor her like he did. Y'all should check out the interview online for the Jason Lee interview with DDG. It was close to two hours long. This is a smart young man. I don't want to give anything away. Rapping is one thing that he does. He is not into the things we think ALL rappers are into. He has his "head on straight" and he is going places for sure. ***Third, now, back to Halle. She was up for three awards. She did well in her role for sure. The 3 categories were Entertainer of the Year (she was up against Usher, Fantasia and others AND USHER WON), Outstanding Actress (she was up against Fantasia and others AND FANTASIA WON), and Outstanding Supporting Actress (she was up Taraji, Danielle and others AND TARAJI WON). So, Halle wasn't snubbed, the actresses roles were a bit more challenging and they deserved the win. We have all heard about Usher killing it at his Vegas residency and saw many videos from his performances. He deserved the win as well. Halle is 23 years old and will be up for other awards. She like all other actresses and actors will lose more than they win. The good news is, she is very talented and her time WILL come.
