Naw , Cooke was tryna get with a hooker , the night in question. Between him taking all of his clothes off in that hotel, a large sum of money went missing while he was in the bathroom. When he came out his money and the hooker he was trying to get with was gone. He runs out into the hotel lobby, threatening the hotel clerk, thinking that she was in on it. While he confronts her, kicking down the clerks door, she reached for her revolver and killed him in self defense, so the court said. So, y’all conspiracy theory is a little far-fetched and overreaching. 😂

Narrator, you had me until you said Bobby was only worth $250,000.00. I've been in the music industry over 40 years and with his royalty rate, are you kidding me, Bobby made 10 times that on the couple of songs the Rolling Stones covered alone, not to mention his own million sellers PLUS concert earnings. He was a gazillionaire, trust me. Now, all of the brothers (except Friendly) were straight up (to put it lightly) man whores, but do NOT lie on that man's success and wealth. He had money, and PLENTY of it!

Lady narrating the story is telling the truth, when Bobby Womack died he had a 74 Buick he lived in an apartment he owed $250,000 back child support, he had some royalties that he was doing I think 3500000, it's all documented. If a person is interested you just have to do a little research. He was living in a one-bedroom apartment that should tell you something right there he wasn't Rich he wasn't wealthy. He had 52,000 dollars at the time of his death. The royalty he had coming we're going to be used to pay off some of his debts, like the back child support,

About him " playing guitar behind his back before Jimi Hendrix" actually neither Hendrix or Bobby Womack started that, it was something that was done by plenty of Blues musicians years before, same as playing with the teeth. Hendrix never said he invented the gimmick and Bobby shouldn't have either.
