That’s exactly why I’m listening to it!! I’ve hit rock bottom this week, I’m in a fight to not lose my farm cause I can’t get refinanced and my buddy just killed himself monday. This song has always been my go to in tough times and this version popped up in my feed this morning and I just keep replaying it over and over!! I always feel like I have god with me when I listen to it, there are so many outstanding versions out here now and it’s just incredible but this is one of my top 3 at least. Another very good band version is from Small Town Titans, I love the bass in his voice but he can also hit some incredible higher notes. This song always brings me peace and comfort and makes me believe it will be ok somehow! I will probly listen to this one at least 50 times today, it’s that good!! Thank you guys for helping me down a long, dark, dreary road today and helping me see the peace and joy!!

I'd heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well, it goes like this The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Well, your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya She tied you to the kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips, she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Well baby, I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew ya And I've seen your flag on the marble arch And love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Well, maybe there's a God above But all I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya And it's not a cry that you hear at night It's not somebody who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Leonard Cohen Hallelujah lyrics © Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC

I met Pentatonix once, and they're amazing. Also amazing people. Very talented. But there is something about numbers in collective human energy that just any "few" can fairly compete with. The power of the vocals here is emotionally overwhelming. I think we're designed for singing, and I think we're designed to sing together. This is an absolute, crystal-clear case on how we're meant to celebrate life and music together. This experience should be offered only at full price without discount, for eternity. Truly etched a mark within me.

Agree from the bottom of my heart. Making music together is such a pure example of a group working together for something bigger than themselves. I think when people set themselves and their differences aside and truly commit to working together there’s nothing we can’t do.
