The original 1985 recording of Halley's Comet by Richard M. Wright (formerly Nancy), which became the template for the Phish cover version.

I always got chills when Page echoed the "What did I do?" line in falsetto, and assumed that it was an ad lib. Turns out that part came straight from the author himself

Thanks for all that you do Amar!! I love all of your content, here and on Twitter. So good and so fun. I would love to hear a breakdown of Treys solo in the Went Simple, next to the last 10 min of the Amsterdam stash this is my favourite little nugget from this band!! I’m sure it has nothing to do with watching bittersweet motel a million times :) thanks again for doing the work for all us noobs

Thanks for this. Trey played it almost every week on his WRUV show, and I've been wanting to hear it again for 30+ years. Now if only someone would post some air checks of Anna LaBrusciano's radio show.

Are those shows recorded somewhere?
@seanconlon27733 жыл бұрын
@@TheFreedomTree I don't know about Trey's show. You can find some clips of Anne's show, which was really great, here: dogoneblog.wordpress.com/2011/01/19/the-anne-labrusciano-show/

This is cool! I wonder if you’ve heard the “outtakes” tape from Billy Breathes with a different version of the title track, a different order and a gem of “Weekly Times” - one of my all time faves.

Have you done any course of video ranking academy 2.0 ?? Is it valuable ?? Please tell me your feedback as I need to start a KZfaq channel
Hey Amar! I've tried time and time again to figure it out, but I just can't seem to transcribe the Althea solo that John Mayer plays (it's in a video basically called Insane John Mayer Solo Althea), and I really like what he does so I want to learn how. If you can, I'm sure a lot of people besides myself would appreciate a breakdown of such a classic Dead tune!
