Hello :) Halloumi pies, halloumi bourekia, whatever you want to call them, are absolutely delicious. Traditionally these would be smaller and would be fried. But I’m not a fan of deep frying. So I made a kourou style pastry and baked them in the oven.
They are so delicious.
Apologies for the shadow of my head keep bobbing up and down in the video! I need to work on that!

Makes about 10
Ingredients
Kourou Pastry:
500g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1 egg
1 cup light olive oil
1 cup greek yoghurt
Filling:
450g halloumi grated coarsely
2 tsp dried mint
2 eggs
Egg wash and sesame seeds
