well, it's not crazy. Cold means no energy, molecules don't move and don't react with each other. Throw soap in ice cold water and almost nothing happens, do the same in boiling water and your soap dissolves much much faster and is more effective. Even metal and stone becomes reactive once you make it hot enough to melt. But some stuff can be "cleaned" with cold - if you cool it down so much that it gets brittle, you can remove the dirt by breaking it off.

The way Chris is describing cold showers is exactly how I prepared to give birth to my son unmedicated. If I can learn how to deep breathe, I can learn how to feel immense pain and get through it. Just like how you’re saying “if you can get through this one minute of cold shower, I can get through anything in my day” I seriously told myself in labor, if I can get through this one contraction, I can do it all! And then after I succeeded I was able to tell myself, if I can get through the pain of labor, I can get through the pain of anything I’ll go through in life. Women are superheroes 💪🏻
