Join me as I decorate our home for Halloween! I'll show you how to create a witchy Halloween garland on the staircase, how to make artificial pumpkins look more realistic, how to make Halloween kitchen cabinet wreaths, & more! Cozy & inviting mixed with the perfect amount of spooky, these Halloween decorating ideas are sure to get you into the Halloween spirit this fall season! I decided to dress comfortable in this decorating video vlog as it makes the decorating process a little more relaxed and comfortable - especially for decorating multiple areas of our home :)

It always brings me such peaceful pleasure watching you work your magic. I too once had an 1872 brick farm house and somehow I always felt so connected to the house espically when decorating for the different seasons. I get a sense that that is the same for you. The florals were a perfect color and texture for the garland. I don’t have glass door cabinets but the idea of hanging a decoration adds just enough spirit to the room! You are a genius.

I have been watching you seasonally decorate for some years now. I have to say no one thinks outside the box like you do, and it’s exciting and invigorating to see this. I have recently gone back to watch some of your Christmas videos where you have decorated with elements that one would not think to use, but they add class and structure to the finished design. I don't know how someone can continue to outdo themselves over and and over but you always do! I have saved pumpkin stems but it never even crossed my mind to take apart the fake pumpkins, I was saving them for velvet pumpkins.I love your garland too. It has nice depth with the colors you picked.

I like the idea of attaching the garland to the railing spindles. You also attached them to the bottom of the stairs for Christmas. It leaves the railing free to hold on to. Your Halloween decorations are excellent. Looking forward to Christmas with your videos. Your ideas are so original.

So eerily beautiful! The garland looks gorgeous with the wood of your staircase. Great tip for using the tinsel pipe cleaners to secure things. You mentioned it in another video, and I used it when decorating my Halloween tree this weekend. You can’t even see them! 🎃🧡🖤🧡

I love your vintage style. I think this makes a much more pleasing decor than the flashy monster themed Halloween of today ( not that I don’t mind a good scare and decorations).
