*READ HERE FIRST*
Note that this match happened a loooong time ago, like 1 or 2 months after Halo 3 was released, so, we didn't know about the drop/pickup tecnique back then (ok, thats from halo 1, from wthat ive heard, but I never played CTF before halo 3 xD). Also, the Flag Runner is not me, per se, its a RL friend, a true n00b, playing as a guest. I posted the video cuz all o'this happened at my place. The real "me" is the hammer dude who gets splattered by the chopper (lol). So, it is epic, and a clear example of n00b luck.

This couldn't be repeated even if it was practiced for thousands of years, let alone by accident like this. He just keeps running in a straight line, which is usually suicide, his team mates are dying around him, all chaos has broken loose, vehicles are gunning for him and missing my millimetres, but he just keeps on running straight without looking or anything just kept his legs moving and his eyes on the prize hahaha

The servers may be gone now, but Martin's memory is still engrained within this video, and so is the memory of everyone here and gone that had amazing experiences with friends and strangers on this game. You may not have known it when you uploaded this fourteen years ago, but you did this community a service when you made it. Thank you.

Well, it's been a while since I last checked my videos. And I have to say, thanks everyone for watching and for remembering Martin, it makes very happy. Some of you were asking who he was. He was (and will always be) my best friend. My bro. So again, thank you all for all your comments even after all this time.

wow, i remember the first time i watched this was so long ago, already back then i thought it was amazing, i came back after so long just to find out he passed away from cancer, makes me sad.

He died with the real teamwork, died in our memories, died a hero, rest in peace the epic flagman aka Martin you gave us good memories, taught us real teamwork, even if you were a noob, you will die a legend!, you will never be forgotten, martin, NEVER!

They let me pick. Did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research, watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others, you were strong and swift and brave. A natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck... Was I wrong?
