Margin of error +/- 5%-10% because I am human and my calculations are not perfect.
**Armor Mods Data**
*Advanced Sensors
- harder to detect on radar
- detects players with Adv. Sensors
- detects crouch-moving players
- 40 m radar (vs 25 m)
- pair silencer/dampener
- radar stays up when zoomed
- does not detect active camo
- does not detect stationary targets
*Auto-Medic
- shield cooldown: 3.0 s (vs 4.0 s)
- shield recharge: 1.27 (vs 1.94 s)
- health recharge: 2.17 (vs 3.17 s)
- cooldown+charge: 5.17 s (vs 7.17s)
*Death From Above
- stabilizing: 3.0 s (vs 2.0 s)
- strong stabilizing
- stronger G-pound
- G-pound: more knockback
- G-pound: faster speed
*Upgraded Shields
- stronger shield
- boosts Overshield strength**
- protects against energy bayonet*
- 22.2% shield left after melee

You missed one thing for the advanced sensor: Normally when enemies are crouching and walk, your motion tracker won't detect them but when you have advanced sensor on, even if they're crouching you can still detect them, but I doubt if advanced sensor can sense silenced gunshots

If you use Advanced Sensors it will detect other players with Advanced Sensors, pretty nice.

romand271 I mean, it's for a player who wants to be more situationally aware. And, it still doesn't help in detecting those trying to sneak in with active camo and silenced weapons. I see it as a way for players to get a heads up so people can't just rush into a base with a shotgun and try to wreak havoc.

I love how the shield mod gives you invulnerability from headshots. fun little poke at kat in halo reach because she had her shields down.

I noticed the other day that Upgraded Thrusters also gives you perfect stabilization (same as Death from Above). So you don't slowly sink as your stabilizing.

Video Description box has updated 'Armor Mod' data and anything I missed. Briefly check it out. This is all the data that I gathered for the 14 Armor Mods. I hope this addresses any questions/uncertainties you may have had about the Armor Mods. Remember that I am human and my calculations are not perfect, so the margin of error should be +/- 5% - 10% max for most of the data. +WATZ UP Impossible for me to truly determine due to damage inconsistencies (plus as you know, Armor Mods not available in Forge). However, I noticed no differences while using Wasps and Banshees while having 'Upgraded Shields' armor mod equipped.

+Anthony There was a period of time (3 months) where I didn't buy a single REQ pack, just saved up points. Also, I don't use many REQs so my points gradually increased over time.

So far one of the BEST detailed videos of Halo. I like how you use actual footage with detailed numbers & percentages for further detail. Keep doin stuff like this. Try a video with comparisons of vehicles. & another with loadout weapons, & another with req weapons.

this video was so great. just saw another 'armor mods video' that was actually pretty bad. the only reasons for calling a mod 'bad' was “it wont help u in a “gunfight“ . this video was big effort and really shows how the mods work

you can stack req weapon ammo with the patrol case as well. for example, if you have level 8 req energy, you could use 2 blood of suban req cards, which cost 4 each, to get double the ammo.

N Resendez good question. i have only done the ammo stacking with lower level reqs, level 4 or lower normally. until warzone turbo comes back, it might be hard to build up enough energy without using the weapon to try to stack it. let us know if you experiment with that.

Upgraded thrusters also has the same effect as DFA in that your stabilizer is stronger

Such great analysis and I still don't know which one to use... Favs are reflex and thrusters so far... My advice is get a hands on feel for this and choose which is best for your style of play. Great Vid

You should put a black outline around the on-screen text, that way it'll be easy to see on any background and you'll avoid things such as the segment at 0:40 where the text was blending in with the background. Other than that, thanks for the great video! Keep up the good work.

PATROL CASE WORKS FOR REQS too. if you pick up a req weapon and go to the station and choose that same weapon you're ammo capacity will increase. choose a req, than choose it again while equipped. you have to already have the weapon equipped to get the increase. i use it when im trying to go on snipping sprees. beam rifle with 180% battery! hell ya

In the current meta, I've found that patrol case increases your reserve ammo capacity for Boltshot, suppressor, and needler. Haven't confirmed if it affects carbine or light rifle. It's useful in early rounds of firefight

Hey, "Upgraded Shields" boosts the strength of the Overshield also if you decide to equip it (it looks like it's a 22.2% boost also).

Nah, Could if they had it, You could have something to cover every situation, if they have something like, A Nornfang, a Gavel, and a Prophet's Bane. It'd be to broken.

It should be like an override to only 1 type of weapon. Like, it cant hold a req weapon, but just a pistol loadout weapon only. Probably name it "weaponizer", "weapon master", "hip pistol", "waist gun", "quick draw".......& that's the most i can come up with. Lol

Grenadier also lets you throw grenades faster, really helps if you're in a gungoose passenger seat throwing infinite nades

Advanced sensors in early game (to be sneaky) Upgraded thrusters in mid game so I can be very aggressive Upgraded shields in late game to counter those annoying bayonets (and survive snipers so pretty cool )

I personally use "Upgraded Shields" because it gives me a slight advantage over my enemy, and I can normally win most of my 1 v 1 gunfights.

Aww, I thought Patrol Case gave you more ammo in the clip as well. Still, it will be nice to get that and Advanced Thrusters. But for now, I should start using Grenadier and Advanced Sensors more often!

Combine that with the speed boost power up and the armor mod together and you can cover ground a lot faster than any vehicle in the game.

DEADPOOLXI I use Wheelman any time I am about to call in a vehicle or get in a vehicle with a teammate. If you have Jorge's Chaingun or are using another turret, Speed Booster counters some of the restrictions on your movement. I use Advanced Sensors if I'm sniping so I don't get assassinated. I use upgraded shields if I use the SNPKr Prime or I'm trying to escape being spawn-camped. I usually use Upgraded Thrusters when I am carrying loadout weapons. Using Grenadier helps if you call in a GunGoose and sit in the back, giving you extra-powered and unlimited frag grenades. Hope this helps!

auto-medic is not that great, I prefer using Upgraded Thrusters and Reflex Enhancers for early to mid game (5-7 req points) , Advanced Sensor for late-game paired with energy bayonet, Upgraded Shield/Advanced Sensor for sniping, Advanced Sensor/Wheelman for vehicles, and Patrol Case for warzone firefight. Other armor mods are basically useless

In Super Fiesta I spawned with energy bayonet and then proceeded to walk behind the enemy team slashing (Stabbing? Swinging?) and got a Killtactlar. Lets just say the enemy team needed a little more than a medic to get patched up.

You missed something, Speed booster also increase the crouch slide, Not sure if it makes you faster then upgraded thrusters, But it makes you faster if you know how to use it.

Hey, liked the vid it helped, but theres one thing you missed. So with patrol case, it says if you equip the same REQ weapon twice, it spwans with more amo. Example: Equip a grav hammer and instead of 100% Energy, it will have more. Good job otherwise though!

Couple questions. Does the shield upgrade affect overshield at all or is it the same as it would be without it, and does the ground pound with the dfa do any extra damage?

If you had the ability to have all of the armor mods in the campaign, The Covenant, or the Flood wouldn’t stand a chance!!! Edit: I know that there’s no flood in the Halo 5 campaign, But it doesn’t mean that it won’t be in Halo Infinite. 🤔🧐🤔🧐

Do armor mods stack with mythic weapons? I.E. upgraded shields and Jorges chain gun. Tarturus gavel and jump height

I used to think that patrol case gave you more req ammo if you spawned two reqs one after the other. I was really dissapointed when I realised it just lets you hold a little more ammo.

No it doesnt I tested it out. The description is just misleading. I put the armor mod on and req'd a sniper used all the ammo and req'd another and recieved the same ammount of ammo it always gives. What I think its supposed to mean is that you can use like half of the bullets in your sniper and req another one and the ammo will fit so your not wasting any.

Unless this was changed on the last update, Patrol Case will give you extra ammo with any req weapon that isn't percentage based. ones like storm rifles or or binary rifles.

the trick is to req something, say we call out the Answer, try your best not to use it or get one free from a teammate, THEN equip Patrol Case, and then req the same weapon again. it will give you double the ammo.

im pretty sure different vehicles are stunned by plasma pistol emps for different amounts of time so you might not of taken that in to acount when looking at the wheelman mod.

Thundernin that's true but a lot of vehicles are tied for their emp stun times. Scorpion has the longest recovery if I remember correctly

+Thundernin I did, trust me. The EMP effect lasts 3.0 seconds on all vehicles and 2.0 seconds if using Wheelman. It seems longer on Scorpions/Wraiths/Mantises but it's still 3.0 s. Those vehicles are relatively slow in terms of reaction times so it seems longer, but it's not. Hope that helps.
