This is great review Kim! I’ve always had really fine hair and have tried different extensions to make it look thicker but I can never get any to work I think it’s just me though! 😅 you have beautiful hair, I love the color and it looks so healthy ! When I wear my hair down which is not very often it just hangs very flat and limp. You always look so beautiful ❤️

Kim, I think you need to curl all your hair together AFTER you put the halo in.

Never heard of this!! Something is funky with the halo or the color or your hair curls. I have 4. Absolutely love them.

I’m a hairstylist that specializes in NBR extensions and I also sell Halo’s to my clients. I think with a more blended cut and your stylist showing you how to style them it would work beautifully. She needs to show you how much hair to pull out as well. It does need to be color matched again too but other than that I think it could work.

I've never heard of this. It is pretty :) I think if your hairdresser just layers it around the front it would blend better. Long layers, around the hair line, starting where your hair ends. You could still get it in the ponytail you wanted, if the layers are long. She wouldn't need to touch the back of it. Just my 2 cents :) Also...my hair is naturally that thick. I have to get it majority thinned out every time I get a haircut. :/ I've definitely spent money on regrets before. You are not alone, Kim!❤

The cut is BAD it needs tapered and more of an angled cut. I’ve been wearing clip in for years and get lots of compliments.

You can have you halo texturized so it is not so thick especially toward the ends.

you bought a layered. They sell the single weft for les. I now have both. I also bought a topper though and that went funny, the hair on my topper remind me of the hair on yours. It does't take curl well and it doesn't blend in with my natural hair like my other two halos all from Couture. So I feel you cause I spent $750 on the topper!!! Feel bad about it as well. The layered is def way heavier! I am waiting for the 14 inch to come in. I am not sure if I will like it. You have to take the piece of your real hair and then a piece of the extension and curl together. It's a bit of work!

It’s unfortunate they’re not what you hoped for 😕I’ve looked a bit into halo extensions and I think when you buy a layered one they have 3 tracks of hair so they’re thicker which gives you more play room for longer hair blends. You could either get a lot of layering done to the piece or check how hard it is to remover a track. Having it curly also always helpS the blend 😊

I know this sounds crazy, but I had the same problem with the thickness. I ended up cutting the top layer of hair off so it wasn't so poofy around my crown.

Yes, I have paid a lot of money and it’s sitting in my daughters basement! I do know how u feel, it’s ok. I wanted to exercise more and bought this thing Christie Brinkley advertises. I then was diagnosed with cancer and my energy just went south. So I just tried it, got fatigued and gave up. It’s still there!! I need to sell it!!! Don’t feel bad we all do it, Tammy!

Don’t worry. We’ve all spent to much money on bad beauty ideas! Your stylist just didn’t quite match the extensions to your hair texture and thickness. The main problem with the halo is that the wire cuts into your scalp and you can’t wear it for over 4 hours a day, if that! You’re beautiful without it

Can you curl it with sections of your hair? Like the fake and real hair mixed into the curls? I feel like it only looks weird because it’s so much straighter than your natural hair. Brooklyn and Molly have extremely thick hair. My sister could only wrap a large elastic ponytail holder around her ponytail two times and the second time was a struggle. SHE has totally got “horse tail hair”. 😂😂 Thanks for the product review! I like those!

I think your natural hair is beautiful as it is. I am surprised by how thick the halo extension is. All halo I had purchased has been on the thinner side but cost much less. I think if halo has layers to the front it might blend better. Looks great from back.

Hey girl, I know exactly how you feel. I just had to have a Chanel Boy Bag, I paid 6700.00 plus tax and I have used it twice. I feel absolutely sick about it. My husband keeps telling me to stop being so hard on myself but it still bothers me and it’s been 2 years.

I think it looks good. Just curl your hair with the extensions so it can blend.

hey Kim if you still really want a halo to work for you,you should check out Amazing Beauty halo! watch some videos on here,i bought some,an they are great! they arent as thick as halo couture ,they are 120 grams for the long ones,but your length is about 100 grams,an the best part is you an get them on Amazon for under $80! an if you still dont like,them you can easily return them,but i guarentee you will like these! i have fine hair,n i like them but started wearing two,bc i personally want it thicker,so i just ordered a thick halo im gonna try,but love my amazing beauty halo!

I actually think it didn’t look that bad ! But if it doesn’t feel right ! My hair is very thin always has been I find an all one length blunt cut not a bob I hate those ! But one length blunt cut gives me the look of thicker hair! I would love to see your Sally Hanson’s!

Kim You need to 1st separate the Crown area of your hair put the Halo on and then the hair falls over it the Crown part you're doing it wrong

Kim, I’m 50 and I had my blended in and cut to fit and I’ve not gotten the hang up it either!! It PISSES ME OFF!! Oh you are cracking me up, we sound JUST ALIKE except, I’M, ALABAMA AMY!! 😂😂😂😂😂😅. Oh I swear we are both having the same issues and I’m not alone. We HAVE GOT TO GET THIS because I swear they can work but we just don’t have it down pat yet.

Get your hairdresser to cut it in with your hair curl it all together it will look beautiful it only need a fue layers cut round front your not liking it at the minute because it needs the layers in keep the length just get the layers it will look beautiful after that.

The wire should actually be sitting an inch or two away from your hairline.. looks like you may have it sitting too far back. They also make thinner halo crowns on a website called "hidden crown".

If you still have it I would buy it from you.

Last time I used hair pieces was for fun but it had little hair clips. Hair pieces always come with issues of some form because you gotta hold it on some how. That doesn't look bad though maybe curl it a bit to match your wavy hair. I think when we are so use to our own hair the extensions feel weird because they are so thick but we notice it and are more critical of ourselves than other people when they see it? Mine didn't feel like a regret but since it was just for a costume I got mine cheap on ebay, they sent the wrong color for one but Ivy wanted to be Elsa and it worked out in the end without needing to return it. No need to chalk it up as a huge regret it is what it is we live and learn.

well you’re not even applying it correctly. pull the crown of your head to the top, then you place the halo, and lastly drop the hair on top

As a 20 year+ hairstylist you’re trying too hard to make it not work. You keep brushing over and over. You’re supposed to curl it and maybe brush once. Lightly. You seem to be annoyed even just putting in on. She maybe should blend in the front a little more and show you how to adjust it. Didn’t she have samples to try before you purchased?

Of course it isn't going to blend when your hair is curled and the halo is straight. This review seems staged or your hairstylist did not educate you properly. There are 2 different thicknesses offered with Halo Couture and sadly whomever you purchased yours through was just pushing the higher priced version.

OK first, speak please speak up! Second you colored your halo. So don't blame company for your girls bad highlighting skills. Third, you knew that your supposed to bend hair with curling iron if you wanted it to blended with your hair! Fourth, it can be worn straight. fifth, she taught you how to put your halo on. Goodness, I've never seen anyone massacre putting one on!
