Learn how to improve outside of the game with these Halo Infinite Tips. Not all ways to improve at Halo Infinite come from playing more, or practicing more ranked matches. You can improve substantially by creating strong habits outside of the game. This video will explore the benefits of sleep, diet, and exercise on gaming, as well as showing you how to build systems that give your Halo Infinite practice time more potential for substantial learning and improvement. Halo Infinite ranked matches can be stressful enough, learning how to properly free your mind for solid deep work sessions can meaningfully improve the speed at which you grow as a Halo player.

Honestly the best way to treat yourself is to do exercise. I hate it and would much rather play Halo. Though after completing a workout you'll get a huge boost of confidence, self worth and sense of accomplishment. That mental support will carry over to other aspects of your life.

You're a big inspiration man. I love gaming but I always thought that your life outside of it has just as much impact on performance as the time spent playing. Balance is key, and you really seem to have it down to a science. Keep it up!

I've been naturally waking up, feeling great, much earlier than usual recently. It's been nice to have extra time to game before work, but after this video i think ill start doing a morning work out or something instead. Our health is important and a little sacrifice of time goes a long way. I appreciate you so much for encouraging us all to be healthier gamers and people. Keep up the good work man.

During 2020, I got into the best shape of my life at 27. I worked out 2x a day and pretty much ate nothing but whole single ingredient foods. My completely dominated in MCC and maintained a solid 1.6-1.7 k/d. I was doing all this to try and enlist in the Airforce. Long story short, I got told "No" because I have clinically diagnosed ADD and need medication to function like a normal person. This sent me into depression and I lost my gains, gained back even MORE weight than before, and started those bad eating habits again. Now my game performance and decision making is awful, I'm slow to react, and can barely keep my kd above .80. I got tired of feeling awful all the time, so I renewed my gym membership and threw away all the crap in my fridge and pantry. Here's to a better me!

Great video man! Just found your channel and I really enjoy your content. The importance of having the life outside of gaming in somewhat order and its effects on performing in game isn’t talked enough in the gaiming community so I’m glad you made a video about it! Keep it up!

This is great advice. Powerlifting is actually a bigger hobby to me than gaming. Gym comes first and then when I do play I tilt less and have a better time. Just got Onyx yesterday 😎. Also I'm a medic/firefighter and work really messes up the sleep schedule but I'm on a stay-cation leading into a powerlifting meet and have been sleeping as much as I want for about a week leading into me getting onyx. Exercise and sleep. Do it.

I agree I am very hard on myself when I fail or even succeed, fitness helps me so much with mentality and understanding there will be better players or fitness athletes or better anything. I found out I am so much more stressed, sad or anxious when I dont work out. It effects my game, sure I still can get tilted just not as quick. But its a working progress, I still have tendencies to be harder on myself than anyone else on failure and ignoring or not recognizing successes or allowing others to dictate how bad I feel. I am not perfect but I just need to say more to myself and you guys too "i improved" or "I will improve" if you read this I am grateful a bit a venting but also talking to you guys as friends or people not just a fan or a social media dude.

I'm 35 with a 4 year old that soaks up my life. Not complaining. I definitely "do gud" on the weekends when I'm not sleep deprived. My rank suffers when I try to force my self to stay up til 10 or 11 with a 4 am wake up, (construction career). I try to just do social during the week. I definitely rage more when I'm tired. When I get good rest and the work week is over I can have fun and perform way better. It's definitely beneficial that I work 4-10s so I get that extra "day" (lol with a kid) to game and get sleep then. 3 day weekend grinder.

After a workout I play better. That's the secret to beating Doom Eternal on Ultra-Nightmare or reaching Onyx. Also if you haven't heard stop drinking soda eating junk food. It will make you a healthier person=feeling better=playing better.

hey man love the vids. Curious on ur thoughts on the mangler. People are saying it’s the new debate that is “setting the community ablaze.” Just want to know what u think of balance right now

Thanks man! Honestly, every game needs consistent updates to slightly adjust the meta and scheduled intervals. I like the idea of seasonal changes in most titles, however season 2 of Infinite being all the way out until May may cause a negative impact in viewership if the competitive sandbox remains untouched all the way until then. I would be in support of a mid-season balance adjustment to the mangler. I don't think it makes or breaks the casual experience, nor do I think it's worth the level of conversation and attention it's receiving, at least from the doom & gloom social media folks, but I would be in support of a nerf.

Matchmaking cheaters is so bad, Big Team Battles doesn't work, the Ranking System is horrible, just the worst! Customization is just a big disappointment!! Also playing Swat, Team Slayer or any other mode doesn't earn you anything and gives no point in playing, unlike the other Halo games. Sadly This will die
