I think is so obvious, but most people specially younger (I'm 46) have a hard time with delayed gratification. All your points are so valid, also hardware wise it's always great to see older games ( I usually end up waiting 4 years average) max out in settings. I agree with breaking the rule for certain studios, that release iron out games that you know you want to support if that's the case, CDPR, Larian, Warhorse, FromSoftware, Gunfire games, and some others I forget. For cyberpunk I waited till a few months back bought it for 35dlls dlc included, and topic aside have been "slow playing" meaning not rushing it, it's a special game. It does suffer of to easy of gameplay even in very hard. But for compensation I bought Monster Hunter world for 7 dlls and been also playing that . Gaming is the best hobby if you manage time spend, and budget wisely 🤙🏻

Fallout 76 has become my favorite Fallout Game and one of my favorite games of all time i have played all of them Fallout 1 which i purchased back when it came out because I enjoyed the game Wasteland and many of the developers who made wasteland formed Black Isle both gsmes were developed in post cold war era featured a unique take on the post apocalyptic genre the World of Fallout takes olace in an alternate timeline where the transistor was not invented in 1948 where America fully embraced the Atomic Age with open arms where the Internet never came into existence there was no information age and the Cold War never ended until 2077 when nukes were launched... I find this to be rather insightful from a game develped st the dawn of the information age like they truly understood how dramatically the Internet and the information age was about to change the world i love rhe old school sci-fi retro futuristic style the Tongue in Cheek dark humor and sarcasm I loved playing every game in this series and Fallout 76 i played from the beginning when the closest thing a human NPC was the super mutsnt Graham and the quests were all listening to holorapes left by dead people this incredibly depressing start ironically created a sense of unity amonst the Fallout 76 community that never went away even after human NPCs were added over the years i have grown to prefer the perk card system and real time vats more rhan the systems used in previous games Fallout 76 is an open world game in the Truest sense of the Word we can play this game however we like we can place our fully customizable camps prerty much anywhere on the map we choose and rhe fun never ends there is and has always been a relatively large and loyal player base that Tears thru new content much much faster than the developers can make it and in past few years we've been waiting impatiently for new content now wirh the TV series on Amazon this community has become much bigger 😎

Yup. But to come back to an old 10 year old game, they have to release good DLCs with new achievements and trophies

I have the fondest memories in my whole gaming career in this game. I wish I could go back and relive them but none of my friends want to go back since they think D2 is better in every way but I’m still stuck on this game for it’s atmosphere, art direction and my ice breaker

I only play new games for making guides for my channel. And now enjoying old games on my backlog, and still making guides for it, even it has no views. Because the games give my joys 😊 On financial sides, games subscription save my thin wallet.

I had a fantastic time with Splitgate in 2021. Dropped it after a while, but I always do with shooters. Just got reminded of this masterpiece though and went to check out how the game does, and I'm so glad they are doing the next thing. Gl 1047!

Wellcome my friend to *_PATIENT GAMING._* Pros: If new game came out broken? Don't buy and wait 😁. Price will be lower even cheaper on sale with Complete Editions and fully upgraded. Downside: you will have to wait and avoid spoilers, and you will hace WAY TO MANY GAMES... 😅 Still worth it

the more i grow up. the more i realize games are getting more shit each year, and that i grew up in the wrong generation. I was too young to experience the 6th and 7th gen era of gaming in it's prime. it sucks this is the state of AAA gaming. and ik there's indie games, but most of them don't appeal to me cause they always have pixel art graphics, or ps1 style graphics.

My advice is the EGS freebies, sure some are junk, but some are bangers you never even knew about. Also the Epic Games Store gets hate, I believe most of it is invalid. TLDR free is better than not

I got Baldur's Gate 3 a couple months ago and I think it was only the 2nd time the game had gone on sale. It was only $10 in savings, BUT I got all the benefits of patches and new ending scenarios right out of the gate. Plus, that money saved basically paid for the Little Caesars pizza I got that night and had a 10-hour session. Something I'll never forget.

I usually wait a year to buy a new game. I make a few exceptions each year if it's something that reviews highly enough and/or it's a smaller studio I want to support. Last year I grabbed Baldur's Gate 3 for obvious reasons, but waited to get Starfield cheap because I knew it would be in deep sale within a few weeks and it was. Between my backlog and the 8 or more great games every month from Humble Choice I don't really have to spend too much on games and definitely can wait for sales.

I bought Elden Ring on release because Fromsoft is the last good bastion in the gaming industry and it probably is my favourite gaming experience. I was invested in that game as if I was a teenager again. It was really cool to experience that hype combined with exploring the amazing world without looking up guides.
