The Halo: Reach multiplayer beta madness doesnt drop into Xbox LIVE until May 3rd, 2010, but youre gonna need to be up to speed before you get your boots in the mud. Check out the world premiere footage of the Reachs multiplayer Alpha in action and get a glimpse at whats on tap for the upcoming public Beta. You can take it for a test spin yourself in May using your copy of Halo 3: ODST to gain access.

@@rookie4582 Its not nostalgia, fuckhead. The game is great, simple as that. It still holds up as the best Halo. It was the best competitive entry, and all the mechanics are balanced and perfect. The maps are the best and most diverse in the series, and the campaign is second only to CE. And I love Reach, I'm Inheritor on it. Are you? Kiddies like you only prefer Reach because of sprint and armor customization. And now every time you say something from the past is better than what came after, all the children come out of the woodwork to point a finger and squeal about "nostalgia", probably because they just learnt that word.

Apollo Alexandre Christ Jesus, I have awoken a H3 monster. Dude, chill, it was a harmless joke. You are making yourself ignorant by claiming I like Reach because of Sprint and Armor lock. And it’s far from the truth. Thought, I honestly think Reach’s sprint feels a lot better than Halo 4’s and 5’s if that matters to you. I could live play Reach without armor abilities just fine.

I’ll never forget preordering ODST and being able to play this! I remember when this trailer came out, I couldn’t stop watching it on my Xbox lol and when the beta came out, I didn’t even wanna go to school the next day. I’m glad I got to experience all of this.

I remember watching this trailer a shitload of times. Getting so pumped up. And then got the xbox 360 halo reach edition with the game for christmass and maaaan i was hooked up for 5 years straight. I just couldnt stop playing. This game in the perfect time for me. good times. I wish best of luck 343 making halo 5. The game is looking very ambitious and fun

The year is 2019. I remember seeing this trailer for the first time. The assassinations, the jetpacks, the new armour and tools. I remember waiting up past my bed time at the time for the beta to download. I remember the release of the game. Had to leave school early for a doctor's appointment and my special edition had come, so I read Halsey's journal. Brilliant times. Extremely innovative game, and the fact that I can go back to this game almost a decade later and still enjoy it is a testament to the creativity and sheer willpower of Bungie.

Infinite going free2play was a big red flag. I knew 343i was gonna bungle something up and they did. Now infinite is gonna be their third failed attempts at Halo and it'll likely lead to halo being shelved or rebooted.

this was the last good halo game before 343 came along and fucked it up. This game was just so perfect man, no hacking, hardly any lag problems, fantastic multiplayer. Bungie if your reading this, I know it's kinda to late but, save the halo franchise from the doom that I can only imagine it's going towards. Your like the treyarch to call of duty. Your Halo's last hope. Master Chief always says this is just the beginning. Well, I think this is where the end nears gentlemen.

+ARCblooper dlc content should be addon's not features that should have been in the game before launch and yes the REQ system is pay to win. Play for hours to earn reqs with low chance of anything good while some rich white kid pays for 20 gold packs and uses his reqs like they're candy dominating the lobby and killing players who used their hard earn reqs and practically waste it

That REQs are pay to win? Hell yeah they are. Look at halo 5 now. They're having events where if you pay 10 dollars you can have prophets banes. This literally broke the already hanging by a thread balance the REQ system had. REQs are just like kill streaks. Easy kills that eliminate actual skill from gun fights and the system itself divides the community further with micro transactions. A skilled player can put hours into gameplay for maybe 3 gold packs while a noon can buy 20 packs and crush the entire lobby with REQs he payed for. The same can be said without money. Noob plays for hours yet only waited for his team to win while he sat in the spawn and open a REQ with a scorpion tank. Pro plays for hours practically carrying his team and gets a recommendation...

I really liked Reach. Take out armor lock and jet pack and it would have been perfect.
