The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 15 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this, they have produced thousands of toys and tens of thousands of pieces.
Mega Brands was formed back in 1967 out of Montreal, Canada. In 2009, they acquired the licence for Halo, originally branded it as "Halo Wars: the Authentic Collectors Series". Soon after, this was dropped to just "Halo Mega Bloks", before its third rebrand into "Halo Mega Construx", a more adult take on the licence. This lasted up until roughly 2021, with a final rebrand into simply "Halo Mega". What comes next for the brand? Only time will tell...
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 returned to the original promise of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite seemed to be in a largely completed form. Season 4 and 5 hit hard, with excellent releases of Firefight KOTH, Infection and dozens of quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, the seasonal format would come to an end with the Spirit of Fire update, dropping the formula all together to be replaced by operations. It's hard to say what the future holds for Halo, but you better believe I'll be along for the ride.

Well done! Everyone did incredible jobs. The stop motions were epic entertainment; the judges were fun to listen to on the livestream ( watched in segments later😅); the judging seemed very fair; and the video editing and production from Simon tied it all in a bow! WOW!

I sadly didnt get so see this premiere as I was busy, but man, huge congrats to the winners for this contest. They definitely deserved it for sure. I definitely saw some of the best stopmotions in recent memory from this competition and I think they completely deserved to win. I learned so many new techniques from these videos, like with the real life gloves on the weapons and the use of green screen. Will definitely take inspiration from them for sure in future videos. Amazing contest and cannot wait for next year, especially with the theme being the great schism. That theme seems like it will be a lot of fun to make, as it’s probably my favorite event from the halo games for sure.

I can’t believe I slept on Mega for so long. I always grew up loving Legos and only remember Mega being like Lego for babies 😂 The figures are so detailed, many of the sets are just amazing! I absolutely love love that they have attachments for weapons (Lego would never) Sucks I joined the fun a little late since these are hard to find now. Glad I found your channel and love these animations!!

This was my first entry. I joined the community late last year, and I couldn’t be happier with my entry. I love the Toymation Fest, and I’ll absolutely be back next year for the Great Schism. Simon, thank you for all that you do, and especially for organizing this event. This has been a ton of fun, and I can’t wait to animate more.

What are you thought about MEGA having the license for Warhammer. Since it’s a pretty big brand with a large fan base and may help Mega in sells. Don’t know if they still are but Game Workshops have been singing many IP contracts lately
