I liked the first Halo War's hijacking animations more compared to the sequel. It looked really bizarre when in the second game, a spartan would hop on a vehicle, punch it, then it would fall under their control.

I love those little details devs put in, they could just put some emitter or other effect, but no, they made custom animation!

Hijacking in Halo Wars 1 is way better than in 2 bc of the detail they put in place where the spartan would throw out the driver and get in.

I’ll admit the Elephant animations made me chuckle.

When the Spartan pulled out the pilot of the Wraith, the pilot was an Elite. When the Covenant player who owns the Wraith is led by the Brute Chieftain, does the pilot become a Brute?

Players vs ai use of Spartans players put them in their units they produced while the ai uses spartans to hijack enemy vehicles

This is great although the camera does move alot during the animation
