I understand Halsey I grew up military and what Halsey described I know. When people ask where I;m from I'm like "where am I not from. Do you want to know where I lived the longers or where I loved the most to life."

If we're 100% honestly, but the fact Kelsea didn't grown-up listening to country doesn't surprise me. Her music isn't really truly country, it's more pop-country. No shade, but you hear the inspiration of that 'transending country' they keep talking about, and not much else.
