Two bots will enter the arena but only one will emerge victorious!

Magnificent comparison video there, bro! Remember: You did it BEST! Yours truly here has the Optimus in Vs. stance against the Wonderfest Black Optimus recolour of the original WFC toy. PS. Prime has been posing in rotation, posed against 6 FOC Kickbacks, the FOC Seekers, Darkside Megatron (with cold-cast upgrade staff), the upgraded Ruination Wreckers Team (all whose extra weapons work like a charm with the dude), plus the 4 main Decepticons (Deluxes) ~ WFC OG Megs (twice-upgraded), FOC Shockwave, WFC Soundwave & FOC Screamer. This new SS Gamer dude really ROCKS, mate! 🎉

It had been a long time since I had picked up a toy and imagined it talking with a life of its own, feeling like it could have adventures and I was just the audience watching rather than the driving source, but that Optimus... from the second I held him I knew this was the true 13th Prime returned. I could his voice as if it was Cullen rather than just my poor impression and it was Glorious. I don't have the Megatron but I can say that Gamer Edition Optimus is definitely my favourite new addition to my collection of the year

I will always have mad respect for Megatron for thinking he could stand up to Metroplex. He has hilarious-tier confidence.

Great review as always my man! I clipped the spurs off his legs....don't see a need for them and it gives megs his knee articulation.

I was so hopeful for something good, an upgrade from that deluxe flop of a figure and ,,,no. We got the same damn crap but with hands that can hold 5mm. That's the upgrade, hands. They made him slightly bigger than BB with working hands. Glad I got the planet x versions of these guys.

Feels super controversial to say but I’ve been loving the Gamer Edition stuff. After I got Optimus I was hesitant cause the rest didn’t look as good, but I’m caught up all the way to Starscream now and I’m having a ton of fun. I can’t wait to see sideswipe, ratchet, and hopefully a Thundercracker and skywarp from Starscream cause he’s a great mold even with the cockpit being slightly too wide.

I’ve only picked up these two, but there is something about that starscream that I like even though he’s not super accurate

@@HamManReviews outside of the cockpit he’s pretty spot on, not perfect by any means but I’d say on par with a lot of the other studio series releases. He’s a really fun figure with great articulation, I’d definitely recommend him

Speaking of quality, the OGs are better. It would be nice if they put more transformation steps/make complex transformation for better look of vehicle modes. Starscream is the best SS Gamer Edition imo.

Hahaha I throw in the maximum elbows for you. But I always speed up the transformation in a 2up otherwise the vid jus goes for a million years.

Great review Ham-Man!!! I agree that Optimus Prime is the superior of the two Gamer Edition figures. :D I just wanted to let you know, throughout the review, you had Megatron's fusion cannon facing the opposite direction, the bulkier side is the front side in both robot and tank modes. lol Keep on being amazing.

I loved those games (physical editions will always be on my shelf) and it's sad to me that old toys are so much better. SS was supposed to be this semi-premium toys. Optimus has few better things than the old one, same for Bee but Megatron/Starscream? Those are a downgrade to old toys and in case of Barricade terrible translation of the design into toy form. I know that we had ANOTHER budget cut but this is getting tiresome.
