Shut up and take my money! They finally managed to get one of these out and keep leaks from appearing til day of for some bots.
That's pretty good considering how the anniversary reveals went down.
What are we thinking? I for one am loving the Unicron Trilogy representation.

I'm right there with you on Vector Prime. I really love the creativity of a mold being cleverly retooled into a different character, without just repainting. It's why I love the Siege Galaxy upgrade Prime and legacy Nova Prime. I got the original figure a while ago and its one of my favorite transformers designs ever, so I'm really looking forward to getting the new one

Straxus might be remold of galvatron, because if you look at Straxus alt mode in the marvel comics its just a flying galvatron

That’s a great call, they haven’t done any partials off that mold yet. I’d be keen to see that, it’d give him some real gravity

Almost certainly, I'd say. Not sure if want, I was never into the comics but he does lool like he could at least possibly be a cool toy even as a low to moderate level remold. If they put Vector Prime level effort into it, then I'm likely to end up going for him anyway.

Sideburn was an instant Preorder for me, RID was a series me and my brother picked up on KZfaq and watched together like a hidden gem which is also why I backed the Omega Prime~ Probably will get Vector Prime and Hot Shot as well, VP could used some more retooling on some parts but over all I was impressed with how they managed to pull it off. Heck I could always just do a little work on the legs replacing those wires with some gear pieces and we are good to go.

I didn’t back omega prime cos he was so expensive here, but then I got a couple of I expectedly lucrative illustration gigs and now I wish I had.

@@HamManReviews Yeah they are a bit pricy and I usually don't back the haslab stuff but this one I couldn't resist. Who knows when they would put this much care into a non-G1ish bot like this again.

Dude, I'm always up for anything from Unicron Trilogy. That was some of my favourite Transformers content back in the day, so I'm looking forward to what else they have in store. I don't find Vector Prime even looks that bad. ^^

The WFC Generic Decepticon looks more like he's based on Sideswipe than Barricade to me, and if they give him a more angular chest plate (hopefully molded so it looks like he has an actual waist) I will be right there for that. For Springer, if they just fix the damn ankle joints so he doesn't require a display stand to stay upright that will be enough, though a transforming rotor sword like the T30 Springer instead of partsforming would be great. All I really expect from Bumblebee compared to the Netflix one is a screen accurate yellow and including the extra lever to not partsform the back plate that I know people 3d printed for at least the Cliffjumper version of the engineering, but wasn't durable enough to last as a 3d printed part. As for the rest, I might get the red recolor of Excellion that's been leaked from the store listings, but not feeling the blue. Vector Prime would already be preordered except I forgot to stay up and mash F5 at drop time so he was sold out by the time I woke up, same as what happened with Swoop. Grrr.

I think I’m more curious about springer than I actually want a new springer. I hope Straxus isn’t too inked up so he still works with other figures

Considering they nailed the deco on the Bumblebee Movie Thundercracker, I will probably get that Skywarp. Sounds like those new SS86 Springer and Bumblebee will be must buys.

The BB Sunstreaker looks a LOT better in-hand than any render or actual image that I've seen. It is NOT super "Egregious Banana Enhancement" in color, but I 100% understand that just SOME more black lines would have set this figure from "pretty cool" to "super rad". The Sideswipe is 85% rad, the feet are super off-putting though. They have that Rob Liefeld flatness.

@@HamManReviews I saw some Fall of Cybertron Wheeljack stuff today, and that Sunstreaker looks A LOT like him. Basically, do a head swap, turn it white with red and green racing stripes, and peel off the big shoulder pads to make room for a spoiler that splits into WJ's iconic little wings instead and you're there. I am now trying to convince myself I don't need to get one to kitbash. I have too many repaint fodder figures stacked up already! Two S85 Starscreams to do as Skywarp and Thundercracker, one Siege for Sunstorm, one Cyberve4rse Ramjet for Thrust, a Bumblebee SS Arcee for Lickety-Split, TR Sentinel Prime to give a more opaque orange, Crossover Maverick to use that same orange to turn into Cyberhjets Hooligan... and I have every Wheeljack mold I could get my hands on already, anyway; WFCE, Cyberverse one-step combiner, MP KO, SS BB, Legacy 5-pack, Origin; he's my favorite charact, I always get all the Wheeljacks! Always room for one more! He looks more like Wheeljack than Sunstreaker to begin with... Wait, wasn't I listing why I DON'T need it?

You say Robosen Megs is too lanky, but look at him in G1 and he's (usually) still not as builky as that, though it's better than the WFCx molds. Only Gamer OP out-Hulks those by comparison to his on screen model.

He's pretty slim in G1 but his proportions aren't as stretched as this. If I was getting these bots it definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.

I've had gAmEr eDiTiOn Sideswipe for about 2 weeks, and I love him. The transformation is great and he looks good in both modes. But Baltmatrix got a QC loosey goosey one, so be aware. Mine is toight like a tiger. I just got Sunstreaker last night. $20 USD, plus 20% off, plus a $10 gift card. I like Sideswipe better, but Sunstreaker is still cool. The Autobot brothers were my jam. I fell in love with Wildrider/X-Brawn since I had a silver SUV back in the day. I thought they were a statement that vehicles were back, but they weren't your old G1 figures. Legacy Sideburn does not satisfy, fully, but I'm glad Car Robots/RiD is getting love. Plus, my HasLab Omega Prime will need allies. I'm not usually excited for partials, repaints are nice and slight retools, too, but give me a new transformation or my brain feels like i just paid for the same exact thing again. But Vector Prime looks dope, and I can't pass him up. Very few figures are worth it to me, but he is.

Partials and similar transformations really work for my head canon cos I feel like it makes sense on a species/societal level

Vector Prime and Hotshot look great, might get Sideburn and Moon-rock (oddly feels like the Infernac leader lol). I'm intrigued by SS86 Bumblebee, got a good feeling about that one and hopefully that "Project Sword" is a He-Man Battle cat.

Straxus! Not Jhiaxus. No worries, not everyone has read the OG Marvel comics. Regarding Swoop, I'm torn. I skipped Slag because I already have a 3rd Party representation of him I like and same with Swoop. Buuuut this one looks good. Choices.
